View Full Version : What happened to my signature?

When I came to read the forums today I found my signature (which was originally a picture of Gizmoduck) messed up with a logo that told me I couldn't use remote linking with a free account and I should upgrade it. So I just downloaded the pic from it's original source and uploaded it myself. Then I added the new pic using the [img] code but it somehow doesn't work anymore. At least for me.

Is that the fault of that windows security hole thing I heard about or is bb-code suddenly disabled?

Oddness to th' max, since my sig works fine.
This happens to me with URL scripts at Gaia Online tho, never figured out why.

Thanks. =D

Still, why didn't it work with the [img] code? I checked if I made a typo, but it was all correct. =/

Hm.. I must say I liked it better when the background was transparent. Does anyone have uber great paint skills to fix this?

&lt;img src=http://people.freenet.de/liljulez/phil/Krachbummente.JPG height=200 px &gt;What dreadful HTML. Try:

&lt;img src="http://people.freenet.de/liljulez/phil/Krachbummente.JPG" height="200" /&gt;Also, using works fine for me:

Are you having trouble with any other BB code?

I'd say: <img src="http://people.freenet.de/liljulez/phil/Krachbummente.JPG" height=200>And why don't you define width too, when you are at it? =O

The maximum signature image width is 700px, which that doesn't come close to, so it's not needed.

It's still rather big though.

Lemme trie. Bolding works. Italics are fine aswell.

The [img] code was the only one giving me troubles.

What's the difference between your code and Cooba's, by the way?

But then the picture should be stretched in some browsers, UR. Quotation marks, LF.

Quotation marks, LF.

What I meant was, what effect do those quotation marks have on the actual picture. I can see no difference. ^.^

...why aren't you using either of those HTML's anyway? Your image is still 31 px too large.
