I first found J2O doing a random search for JJ2 stuff on the internet. I came upon J2O and thought it was dead. I didn't even bother to check the dates. I later came back and saw that the place had changed, so it wasn't dead. So I became a new happy member.

So, how did you find J2O?

... how do you change the title of a thread?

I first found J2O shortly after J2C closed down. Been here ever since.

If I'm not mistaking, there was a link to J2O on the daily carrot. I clicked that one and found a living JJ2 site...

By the power of Google, I entered 'Jazz Jackrabbit' in search for information and development on my favourite platform game.

Been here since a year now, joined the forums shortly after that.

I remember going to The Daily Carrot for good JJ2 links (I forgot the URL of J2C). To my dismay, almost all of the links, including that of J2C, were broken. I had been to J2C before and I wanted to visit again, obviously, so I went to Altavista, of all the search engines, and just typed 'Jazz 2 City'. What did I get? Not Jazz 2 City, but a J2O newspost annoncing the death of J2C! For just one moment, I felt lost and exposed, but J2O interested me, and proved good <s>enough</s>, so I stayed. :p

In 2001, Elrick from the BOD clan gave me a link to it on a hotel server. Notice how long it took me to find JCF on it and register. \o/

I found a link to it from Lori Central, which I found a link to from Haze's Hideout. I was just too shy to register and such any sooner than I did.

I forget the exact details... it was sometime around the JMMB closing, although I'm not sure if it was before or after.

The Unknown Bunny above invited me long ago at the begining of my Jazz3D project, i've been here ever since.

I think it might have been from somebody in a JJ2 server a number of years ago. I remember going to J2C a lot to download stuff to play on LAN, though. I was such a newbie at internet back then I didn't know what a forum was.

I was a stalker on the JMMB for a year, then started spraying rubber chicken goo on innocent folks in the comedy cafe there for a year, and then when the community moved to the JCF, I followed.

I did a google search for "Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online" in May 2003. After I pressed the search button, my life would never be the same again...

Probably some sort of search engine (or, this being a much less likely possibility, through Haze's Hideout) in very early 2002.

I came here from the demise of J2C. I don't remember how exactly I found out this site existed though.

I believe Universe Jazz and the JMMB announced the site.

I think you're right, Bob. I seem to remember reading that.
