Access violation when I click single player game

Help please. When I go to new game and then single player it gives me access violation and I can't play.

Have you tried uninstalling the game, clearing the registry entries, and then reinstalling?

I don't have the install file and I don't know what registry entry is.

How many j2e files are in your JJ2 directory?

Search your computer for *.j2e and see how many files turn up in your JJ2 directory. If it's more than (I think) 8, it will crash.

58 episode files?! How did you manage that? Are you sure you're not mistaking them with .j2l's (regular levels)? Anyway, here are the ones you need:

1. Prince.j2e (Formerly a Prince)
2. Rescue.j2e (Jazz in Time)
3. Flash.j2e (Flashback)
4. Monkey.j2e (Monkey Business)
5. Home.j2e (Home Cooked Levels)
6. Share.j2e (Shareware Demo)

Here are the extra ones:

7. Xmas98.j2e / Xmas99.j2e (Holiday Hare 98 and Christmas Chronicles), feel to correct me as I don't have HH98)
8. Secretf.j2e (The Secret Files)

Having so many episode files is impossible to achieve since JJ2 would crash.

(Or has it been crashing for the last few months? :roll: )

You can have more than 8, just not more than 8 in the folder that Jazz2.exe is located in.
