Well, actually I know Lori's a girl and stuff. I liked playing Lori in the Secret Files. I hope she'll appear later too. :) But I wonder, who is she exactly? One of the sites said something about her and Jazz being together, that they're somehow related. But they couldn't really be because of Eva Earlong? So then, who is she? An x-girlfriend? Or a sister? :D I'm curious really. Or could she be Spaz's girlfriend? So... is she a member of the family or an "outsider"?

Like Kuraj said, she was originally planned to be Spaz's girlfriend (girl that appears at the end of the original JJ2). However, on some thing about the game they accidently said she was Jazz and Spaz's sister, so they just stuck with that.

A little more detail...
The way it was intended, Lori was meant to be Spaz's love interest. I
haven't seen it in a while, but at the end of the JJ2 ending movie Spaz
spots a pretty bunny at the wedding reception ... this was Lori (with a
makeover). Project 2 made her their sister though -- so it wasn't really a
PR mistake -- it was more Project 2 wanted to keep it simple. In the end,
time was a factor with Lori. Dean did a great job animating her, but
because this is such a time-consuming process, by the time all the
animation was finished there was very little time to implement her special
moves. All the moves were "in the works" (i.e. we'd come up with an idea,
and Dean would animate it) so once it was animated, we used it. And, due to
time constraints there wasn't any time to re-draw or animate different
moves later on etc... so we had to use what Dean animated. Lori didn't get
the testing she deserved when it came to her gameplay style.

Also, you'll notice the animation style of Jazz, Spaz and Lori are
different. Nick Stadler animated Jazz and Spaz "actual size" on a computer
pixel-by-pixel. Lori was animated by hand and then scanned into a computer
graphics program. She was then "resized" to fit the height of the game, so
to me she's always looked "smaller" than Jazz & Spaz.

We now know that Jazz's family hail from Carrotus's deep south where such things are common. Of course, after saving the planet and stuff, well you have a greater pool of suitors, so it was a simple matter toset her up with cousin Jones.
