Change the registry to connect to jazzlist.madskills.org.

1. Start up the Registry Editor (Run command in the Start Menu) by typing in regedit.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Epic Megagames -> (all of your JJ2 versions).
3. Go to your desired JJ2 version(s), and change the jazz.nimrod-online.com into jazzlist.madskills.org.

Or maybe the server was just plain down as part of ThaSpaz' "plan to bring JJ2 online down" It's fine now.

Change it to jazz.contrabandent.com.Yeah it's a good choice to use a really unstable and unmaintained serverlist rather than a well working and maintained one ;).

Probably not, according to Nimrod, the server got caught up in a CPU loop and was just down for a while on mechanical error. Not that it's anything to worry about.

Well thats mostly true. The List Server (coded by Epic) got caught on a Net Handle error which generates 100% CPU usage, after a couple of minutes it usually gets itself out of that, but for some reason it didnt. After a couple of hours it got itself out of the loop. Hopefully now with access to the source code to one of the list server applications we can work to ensure a stable application for the List Server.
Anyways, hope this answers your problem with accessing the list.

Stop it Unknown. You get an explaination, dirty it and shove it back in one's mouth. I have no other way of saying this unfortunately.
