This is rather interesting, taken from JazzTool about the games currently running.

So it seems more people are switching to Monolith's listserver.
Might be associated with Nimrod's "Power Abusing" that the community is fed up. I dunno.

But it's interesting.

Pwned by Monolith!

No, it's because recently people are fed up with Nimmy's server not working for long peiods of time. Get your facts straight Shadowrabbit.

lol, its a bit bugged too.
<s>those servers were all pinging ;p</s>

If memory serves, the servers mirror each other. Monolith's is primarily the server used by Americans, who make up a good portion of the online JJ2 community.

So when an American hosts on Monolith's server, it's also shown on Nimrod's server in game. Nobody's switching server from one to another, because they make up the same network.

I win.

Wait I just looked at the server names.
Most of those are fake servers that are associated with Nimmy's server breaking.
I think the only real one is . which was hosted by Veg.

Odd.

And I just noticed that it's back to normal yet Monolith's Battle Server is STILL pinging.

Your find it was most likely due to a ServerNET error which ended up with dead servers not delisting from Madskills.

The popularity of the lists doesnt matter, as both lists mirror eachother. But if your really interested, 98% or so of games are listed on my list and then mirrored to Madskills. This is due to the fact that the official patch we released to J2o only contains my list as a useable list.

Madskills is the second list to the network that we are phasing in slowly, we arent expecting major usage of Madskills until we release a patch to support both lists at the same time. Though some users out there who are comfortable with Registry Editing use Madskills as well, which is helpful to us as it allows us to perform tests with ServerNET to ensure proper stability for when we release a patch.

Also Shadowrabbit, if you feel people wont use my list because of my so called "Power Abuse". Your forgetting Me and Monolith are on the same network, supporting eachother. If I'm power abusing, it means I'm power abusing on both lists as they are linked. Also to be fair, isnt this little group of yours "PE" suppose to be supporting the network? At the moment all I have seen you do is PA network admins and allow crashers into your group.

Perhaps its time considering stopping your group and giving us a list of people who can log crashes, so we can bring them into the List Server Team and Forum.

"Your find it was most likely due to a ServerNET error which ended up with dead servers not delisting from Madskills."
Well, that just rendered my thread useless.

I know yours is teh major list and Mono's mirrors it. ;P

Refer to previous reply.

Know you're on the same network with Monolith, skimming a while back to the Orbitz petition proves the statement wrong, I didn't PA admins just proving points, and I didn't know UF was a crasher until you "kindly" said in a report he was a crasher.

"Perhaps its time considering stopping your group and giving us a list of people who can log crashes, so we can bring them into the List Server Team and Forum."

I rofl at this last statement, for this is one of PE's jobs.

Did I ever say I wanted my IP on the JCF for public viewing?

Well I thought JCF was the least drastic place to put it. But if you so wish, we could take it much further by updating the Network Blocker, the List Server MOTD and a dedicated thread on JCF. Really, its up to you (and the other list server team members)

Uh, if you knew that when you made the thread, you wouldn't have made the above statement, nor would you have made the thread.

If it is, then I think I speak for everybody when I say that it's doing an incredibly bad job. Unless Nimrod, Monolith, or the rest of the List Server team can prove that PE members send reports.

I'm affraid we have had no reports from PE members. Nor any contact with PE.

PE members are inactive except for me.
And I'll give you the past 3 reports we've gotten when I get home.

Might I point out that you could easily have found out yourself that all servers but Vegito's were in fact "lag clones" or "ghost servers" or "pinging" or whatever you want to call it, for all of them have an uptime that it so high that barely any server except for perhaps the Battle Server has it nowadays.

Besides, I hereby leave PE. I never intended to be a serious member and in fact I didn't expect you to take my deliberately "noob-style" joinging request serious either.

Rats.
It seems if we don't get any members soon PE will, in fact, die.
Well, that isn't if something in particular happens, however I'm not releasing information on it as it's indefinite.

*puts Stijn's badge into a "Past Members" cabinet*

Why can people not just stop assume already and take it up with Nimrod personally? These kind of threads have become more and more of an issue of late, if it keeps going I suggest handing out warnings or even temporary forum bans to creators of such threads.

Your ignorance is supreme, ShadowRabbit. Despising how many times Nimrod have had to defend himself of late, you ignore all of his points and go create another public thread against him. Please, grow up.

NovaStar

My ignorance is actually only supreme when I'm asleep, ty.
And I don't ignore his points. If you read my posts, well...
Then you'll see that statement was rather "supreme ignorance".
And grow up? You expect a 12 year old to be a 21 year old on command? I rofl.

If you acknowledge that you are not mature enough to handle making threads, then you are certainly not mature enough to handle being a clan leader.

I didn't acknowledge that I wasn't mature enough to make threads. Where does it say that?!

At the age of 12, I was much smarter than this. Being young is not an excuse for being immature. Do you think you just can run around hitting people that's much older than you, and keep defending yourself with "Don't hit people younger than you!"? Being grown up has nothing to do with age, it is an evolution as a person, something that comes with intellect, not specifically age. I have told many +20 years old people to "grow up".
