Bad searching on the forums

I dont like the search engine on the forums i cant search for a word like "Mac" very annoying...

We purposefully disallow search terms of three words and smaller to avoid needing more resources, because search is very resource-intensive. If you really need to search for mac, one thing is to try <a href="http://www.google.com/search?as_q=mac&num=10&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=jazz2online.com%2Fjcf%2F&as_rights=&safe=images">using google</a> to search the forums.

If I have a 3 letter word, I always add a * infront of it.
Such as: *mac
