These are just 2 gameype ideas I just thought of.
The first kind is called Single Player race. You host it in Single Player using PC4. The first person to finish the level wins.
The second kind is Team Coop. The first team to finish the level wins.

How would team coop work? Would you have a special level that is broken into two identical halves, with a team in each half, and just see who gets to the end first? Or would you run through the same level twice, first one team then another, time both, and see which team gets to the end faster?

I think Team Co-op would be interesting. I presume they'd be on the same map, maybe with triggers or something to designate which team they're on.
Actually, I have an idea related to this. What about a map with single-player type design, hosted in CTF mode. Each team tries to make it to the other's start position, and if they die they go back to their start. Like double-sided assault, only every member of the team needs to get to the end for them to be able to score enough points to win, and upon reaching the end you are out for the game (put in a little box of outness).

This reminds me of the concept EvilMike told me about (which he might've gotten from another game). The one level I made with this concept wasn't that good, and Mike probably didn't make a level himself. It's not to say good levels can't be made with this idea; it's just I'm already discouraged from trying it again.
