Duels are based on luck and lag. That's true and accept it :P.Of course, duels sometimes are fun, however 1v1 can't be compared to 2v2/3v3 because to win team game, you need more than luck :P
Btw. I didn't play the game serious [ LB vs mYm] because I couldn't focus. My 'teammate' instead of playing, was talking crap in teamchat and I must admit that in spamming during game he's good. :)

Duels are mostly based on stratergy and skill, and the fact I used to play with around 550ms for two months and haven't lost a single match is a proof. Do you think Bob, Skull and I are just lucky? Sure, sometimes the winner is decided by luck, like everything in life, but saying that duels are only based on lag and luck is just stupid.

1)First of all, I'm playing jj2 longer than you which means I'm more experienced than you are. So don't tell me what should I do. I won many games playing my own style (and seek pu isn't key on distopia, btw ;))

Ok people, group hug, group hug. All that people who haven't seen Mav and Sucer play, see here is them randomly accusing each other of being bad teamplayers. I suppose you're both decent enough players, but fighting over it here can't be good for anyone. I could be wrong, but wouldn't it work better if you asked your opponents for a little time out during the game, then ask your teammate nicely to change some of his strategy? (for the record, saying "[censored] noob, be rts", and getting all mad because your opponent made a little mistake, is generally not considered to qualify as "nicely". It might not be exactly what happened in this case, I wouldn't know, but I do believe it's not uncommon).

As for people not finishing their matches... well, can't they just contact each other over e-mail, and arrange a time for all 4 of them to be online at the same time? I'd say that randomly waiting for 4 different people to be on simultaneously can take rather long.

i mean that two good individual players don't neccesarily make a good team and it's all about their chemistry (which also improves as the more they play together). for example, sucer and i make a great team and barely ever lose together, while whenever i play with sj we get owned.

Everyone has to agree with this, but there are also some players who are better generally at teamplay than others.
There are good teamplayers, and bad teamplayers. But it's not so easily classified. A good team is 37% chemistry 49% skill and 14% playstyle. My playstyle is made to own an attacking player while it just sucks againts a defensive one. Of course it's easy to beat an attacking player if you just run away and leave seeks to the corridors, but again it's more complicated than that.

The best teammates for me are my brothers and kind persons that dispite of the fact that they are much better in JJ2 than me, they still do what I ask them to do.

When playing with r3p...

R3p: e1, 1
Sucer: r3, die! (not preferable in this situation)

And then without having to wait two minutes, r3p dies immediadly, get's C or gives further advices.

When playing with Mave...

Mave: 1 go r
Sucer: r3

I wait for one minute meanwhile which the opponent comes to the base and hits me and goes rts.

Sucer: DD
Enemy roasted Mave
blue team scored a point
Mave: And you just possibly couldn't say DD erlier:(

So chemistry and playstyle do a lot in 2vs2. Some people's playing style fits to most personalities and strategies meanwhile others don't.

Yes, and also TRUST that your partner knows what he is doing. Of course if you see your partner doing something stupid you can tell that to him, but there's no need to lose your trust becouse of that you see your partner camping at seek PU when you have said 1. Just tell him 1 again, if he just continues camping there, you can add some dramatical shouting marks and say like: 1!!!!!. If your partner is idiot enough to continue camping at the Pu, change partner.

Of course one team has to blunder, otherwise there would be no scores. You shouldn't lose your trust just becouse your partner blunders. Then just take more responsibility, control the center of the level more, DD and try to command your partner to do stuff.
Veg has given me a great example of this. He and an anonym player beat Sperry and sweet this way. Veg noticed that the anonym player wasn't quite experienced in teamplay, and realized that he had to take more responsibility. (which he doesn't need to take when playing with a 1337 teamplayer like Gry/Yax/r3p)
He commanded the anonym player to do stuff and when the player obeyed, the teamplay worked well.

That's what I was TRYING to do. I just spoiled the whole thing by getting hit by an airhit and then suffering from the lagclone, while the real player had already gone to the base.
These were noob mistakes I know. I should have count the possibility of a lagclone, CTO and airhit, and just go a bit off the base and shoot some seeks. But that's what happens when I try to be creative:P

if you want to join a game:
New game -> Party mode -> Internet game -> client -> Choose number of players on that computer -> Player setup -> Start game -> server name

if you want to serve a game:
New game -> Party mode -> Internet game -> server -> Server setup -> Done -> Choose number of players on that computer -> Player setup -> Start game

I believe r3p when he says he wasn't concentrating, or he was whatching television, as his playin' improves obviously when he plays seriously. Duel always till 10 and you see how he improves in the end. In a duel till 5 you can win thou.

If you really had serious lag you wouldn't stand a chance, since no one no matter the skill can survive airhits and 3hks :p The ms simply doesn't say so much.

You've got to train (by playing much and thinking up your own strategies in levels) for months and then you can own people you couldn't before...
Train the same things over and over so they'll come naturally in real games.

Then, finally, after years, own Gry, own FS, own R3p and become teh best jazzer evarrrrrrrr!!! *calms down and goes 2 server 2 talk (-)*

The only problem I see, is that you don't want to get better. You just want to whine about sucking. You were given the best solution availble, and you rejected it. I don't see why anyone should help you get better at this point.

Of course it depends on the level, but as Mave and R3p both have hard time beating me when I play serious, I don't believe they'll be a match at all. Well, miracles do happen and we are not talking about an awesome teamplayer so...
But propably not, as If I host, I beat Mave easily and.. Actually I havn't dueled r3p in my host in a loong time so dunno:PXD

Mave's problem is his connection so that's why he doesn't win that often, but if you get to play with him in his own server with Hamachi for example, heck he's godlike. ;)
