Banned from #jj2, why?

I was just wondering why on earth I was banned on #jj2, as I don't know what I've done wrong.

You're far from being the first. #jj2 is a "private playground" for community members or something. If the ops don't like someone, they won't let them in, and the ops dislike a bunch of people. *shrugs*

The ops ban people when they break a rule. People who get onto #jj2 should be aware of the rules. ShadowRR was being a bit of a nuisance, and will probably be unbanned very soon.

And indeed, perhaps if he was a bit more "aware" then he would have posted this message in the #jj2 forums instead of here.

Read through this log again. During a conversation, you repeatedly used a bot and kind of annoyed people. You were also asked to stop doing a similar thing earlier in the day, and were asked to stop it shortly before being banned even. You will be unbanned eventually, when you are just come back and don't do it again.

It pays off to learn how the channel works. If you want to do that sort of thing, find another channel. The ban is nothing personal.

Yes, I was trying to find out when the last time nimrod was on, and I spelt it wrong twice. I couldn't of done "useful conversation" as I didn't know what the convo was, and I only did the tickbot death command once. I don't see how any of the above should be bannable.

You should learn why it is bannable then, and where you can freely say as many bot commands as you wish without anyone minding. It's not hard to learn the rules, nor is it hard to accept them. You aren't even banned any more either, since it wasn't a major offence.

This isn't the forum for this sort of discussion though. You should post any further remarks in the forum that monolith linked.
