As promised, I would start the LMAT Autumn 2006 on the 31st of May. Three months of time to make a tileset seems enaugh, but of course who am I to say we can't move the deadline a few years.

First, the rules again. I just copied them from Cooba's may/june thread <span style="background-color: #FFEF80"><strike>(with a hidden word deleted)</strike></span>, I hope you dont mind.

Adding tiles from the previous LMAT editions is not allowed.<li>There are no official color restrictions. You may draw in 8-bit, 16-bit, or however you want. When updating the tileset, you may also edit existing tiles - this includes changing the colors, making them bigger, fixing small bugs, changing the shading, etc. If you have already successfully contibuted to the tileset, and think that some of the tiles should be deleted from the main tileset image, you may initiate a vote for removal of those tiles. You have to precisely indicate that you're initiating a vote, and which tiles (or sections of tiles) you want removed. The voting period is two days long, and a 75% (3/4) majority of YES votes is required for the desired tiles to be removed. You may not initiate a vote for another two days after the previous voting period. If an addition is below the whole tileset's quality standard, it may be removed without the voting process. You may delete your own tiles at will, unless they're heavily integrated with the rest of the set. The vote's outcome isn't acceptable if no one has voted. Do not include a Palette tile. Please refrain from posting textured backgrounds until we have an idea of what the tileset is like. If you really do not want some of your tiles to be edited, for whatever reason, specify this clearly, but keep in mind that people might then not use your tileset at all. Logical content rules apply. Do not use the tileset to contain attacks against other people, pornographic or oherwise illegal images, links to illegal web-sites, or stuff like that. Use your common sense.

For people thinking "HUH? Autumn? In the summer?": It's meant to be done in 3 months, and that's about time people should start making some nice autumn-styled levels =)
For people on the southern half of this planet: I'm sorry I based this on the half I live on =) <strike>Just wait half a year using the tileset and playing the levels made with it!</strike>

Yeah, since people are SO going to enter another startless LMAT after it took them one month to settle on the actual theme.

maybe.. the darker green can be transformed to red and brown.. =)

also, I wonder why cooba and crimiclown think this LMAT won't work cuz there won't be a theme soon, because there IS a theme already. That's called reading thread titles.

I havent started them:P it's not my fault! This one was coming a looooooooooooooong time before BOTH of them, so I don't wanna argue about that. I stated I would start this and I'm not responsible for any other LMAT's still running.

The fact that LMAT May isn't getting any attention makes you think this is going to work... why?

I never said that. I just said I would start it so I did.

Let's say 3 weeks ago I promised to make a movie released on this date about something that was hilarious 3 weeks ago.
Now let's also say this 'something' is incredibly lame today.
Should I still release the movie because I promised it, or should I release it to a cold audience that will hate it?
Bad metaphor perhaps, but I'm saying is take into account whether or not you really care about this project. If you really cared, and did not start for some corperate reason, you would see at this point in time that barely anyone is doing anything on LMATs lately and you should push back the 'release date' until your audience would actually want it. At this point, you're just as bad as Disney releasing crap sequels which nobody cares about. Nobody here is going to blackmail you because you never made LMAT Autumn.

<Secret message: rants are excellent to kill time with.>

agreed. but I just felt like making it and I wouldnt care if this doesnt 'produce' a tileset, I just don't like breaking promises.

Arguing about this seems like it doesn't bring anything of any sort any closer, and thus worthless.

I'm rather confused as I haven't replied to Jerry's post (which ended our conversation pretty well IMO) and yet you people say to stop arguing after nothing of the sort had happened for a few hours.

If I was feeling argumental during that particular conversation, I would have replied to Jerry's post (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showpost.php?p=364461&postcount=13) the second I read it (which was shortly after he posted it). For all I'm concerned the "argument", "Discussion" or whatever you perceive it as, was over.
Please stop posting replies such as "Stop the attitude and make make a tileset? ;o" and the like, because the "attitude" has stopped (but afaic there never was one, unless you perceive the candidates in a presidential debate as having an "attitude")
Wait, I just got the greatest 'tude filled reponse ever:
"Stop posting about the discussion and make a tileset ;O?"
