I thought I'd keep you guys up to date on whats happenin' in artist land. These are some images I've been doing for college. Most of my images are game systems, though I've gotta be careful or they might figure out what I'm doing on the days when my assignments come in late LOL. Not that I'm promoting laziness or anything. I'm just having a bit of trouble syncing with reality (kind of nips you in the bud like that though). They'll make a responsible adult out of me yet.

The sketch page is just something I doodled around with in church. Nothing important really. All the other ones though are huzah super college yesness :P. ha.

The majority of these are for my drawing class.

A drawing class. Can you believe it? I thought, "What? I draw plenty fine, whats with this drawing class. Didn't they see my work?" In kind of a oh so noobish fasion. But seriously, they like, teach you STUFF in college o.o. I mean, stuff that you can't find just by hanging around a messege board and trying to look cool (liek an idiot) ;p.

Er, and the wolf sketch is more randomness. Just kind of practicing some techniques... then I go off and doodle stupid stuff. Ha. Don't get me wrong though, stupid is a good thing. I mean, the right kind of stupid. Then there's n00b stupid and thats just plain stupid unless its a mockery of that which is n00b. Er, yeah.

P.S. These images are posted in chronological order. Just a point of interest perhaps. Er, and I just realized that the (liek and idiot) comment might be found offensive. Seriously, I was just refering to myself. I wasn't directing that to anyone else.

I hope it's better than High school 2d art.

Painting what you see in reallife is a PAIN. Seriously, I hate trying to mix colors for ten minutes just for one little shade.

wow, I haven't taken a painting class as of yet. Yeah, I'm not up for PAINting myself. Except for the digital kind (which rox). My reason is the same as yours really. Perhaps even more so. There's mixing then there's the mess. Finally there's the price coupled with wasted paint that just sends dollars down the drain. I stixorz to my pencilsorzorzorzorzorz ... orz. I'll have to check to see whats comming up in my next classes....

I had an art class where I had to do stuff like that. Drawing for programmers. :P It looks like you're doing pretty well.
