Well, after being away from the JCF for several years, I have gotten the JJ2 bug again. It's nice to see how many people are still here. I might attempt a levelpack or something if I ever work myself up to it so...

I have a few questions (and may have more) :

1. Does anyone have a .zip or link of a comprehensive tileset pack? I know there's a lot of tilesets that were never submitted on j2o, but I don't want any especially crappy ones either =p

2. I've seen a lot of advancements in decoding JJ2's leftover bits and pieces. Has anyone found new baddies since I was last here? I remember discovering the Blue Ghost thing that 007 stumbled upon, but I'm a little curious about the tweedle sprites. Has anyone made him into a working boss? Did anyone figure out how to fix the rocket turtle boss?

3. Has anyone figured out what's up with MCE's? I've used them before, but some didn't seem to work.

4. Has anyone figured out how to create the destruct blocks that were never finished (pepper spray, electro blaster, etc)?

5. Which is better? Snufuss or Emu? :D

Rocket Turtle has always worked, you just need to lay down some AreaID events.

No new enemys, and violet made a great article on MCE's that is on j2o.

Yeah, but it's understood a fair bit better than in that article now... I just need to write the new concepts down sometime.

No destruct blocks exist for pepper spray or electro-blaster because they were weapons added to the game after the destruct blocks were programmed. Destruct blocks set to weapon 8 can be destroyed by the Fireball Gun MCE, but there is no known way to replicate the Blade Gun in modern JJ2, so weapon 9 blocks will probably remain only vulnerable to TNT and the laser shield. Both pepper spray and electro-blaster can destroy speed blocks, though, possibly just because speed blocks weren't programmed to be resistant to the later-added weapons.

So....did anyone ever make a tileset pack that I could have?

What, J2O's download section doesn't fullfill your needs?

Maybe someone has a .zip of the entire downloads section.

Maybe you could get someone to mail you a CD archive of the J2O server.

<s>Or e-mail it to you.</s>
