Okay, so previously in the last episode... Er, thread of the stupid contest I've collected submissions for a new contest since the last one was too stupid. This is the special voting edition of the thread, meaning everyone is going to get to vote on what was previously submitted.

The following is the list of submissions to vote from.

Radium's Jazz as Spaz, Spaz as Lori, and Lori as Jazz:

I conisdered voting for myself, since it was private voting, but decided against this idea and voted for Radium instead.

Saying who you voted for destroys the fact that you tried to hold the private voting idea sacrosanct.

Yes.

... Erm what? I'm terribly confused here. "sacrosanct" does not mean to exploit for personal gain.

Actually, I gathered that n00b only would have voted for n00b since n00b's vote would be private. n00b then decided against that, and had no problem saying that n00b voted for Radium because there's only shame in voting for oneself.

I voted for Radium too.

And I'm not being crude or anything, but was the gun in the Jackmeerkat picture SUPPOSED to look like a (-)?

Strato

FreeLance, I highly doubt it. But that stuck out to me too. I was shocked and confused.

Radium.

Radium
Jun 28, 2006, 04:55 PM
Yay, I'm popular.

I was previously a loyal supporter of Paco's entry, but I had to vote for Birdie's. The cuteness got to me. And us vectorlords have to stick up for eachother if we ever hope to overthrow rasterdom.

I considered Noob's, too. If he did the whole team as Jello Pudding Pops he would've got my vote, because IMO that was the best part.

Haha, I noticed that but decided to wait for someone else to say something. Kind of an awkward situation thing. I guess I figured that if nobody else notices it maybe I shouldn't say anything.

Radium's picture looks like the genders were swapped. It really does.

And the n00b's link doesn't work for some reason.

And the n00b's link doesn't work for some reason. You have to copy and paste it, or press enter in the address bar after it takes you to the "omg no linking" page.

And I emphisize

(copy and paste the link to view):

I figured that maybe everyone didn't notice that you need to copy and paste the link to view the file so I go through the trouble of adding that little side note in parentheses, but noooooo. We need sirens and flashing lights, maybe a megaphone. Thats it, next time I need to post something that needs to be copied and pasted I'm gonna make a huge jump around like crazy like a rabbid banner add from hell animated GIF just to let everyone know that for petes sake you gotta copy and paste the freakin' link or it doesn't work. Gawsh!

But seriously though, I'll have to do that lol. Er, does the JCF forum support flash, say if someone wanted to imbed a banner?

Birdie
Jun 29, 2006, 11:00 AM
You can embed flash.

But doesn't that make the Admins crazy?

n00b's entry wins, I declare.
Not like I have any say, but it was worth a try.
Pako's entry totally wins in the "stupid" section, but I just couldn't resist the flash.

And Radium's entry fails badly at being funny. Or stupid. Or random.

I just liked seeing Lori as a crazed madman.

The Lori -> Jazz transformation in Rad's picture is brilliant.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rad had made a quite less appropiate version with Lori and the LFG

The most brilliant bit is that she's naked, because Jazz has no clothes. :o

...no.

Doubble Dutch
Jun 30, 2006, 05:28 AM
I don't see why everyone wants to see her nude; there's nothing under those clothes but fur.

Oh, and by the way, it's not "Jazz as text art," it's "Jazz as a jumble of text."

Wha? Radium you bum, you can already draw. You don't need commissions ;). Okay, tell the Hare man what it is yous wants and I-sa draws it for yous. Commission like. Yes. Except free, without the moneys... And the water buffalo.

Radium
Jul 2, 2006, 06:07 PM
I pass my prize to N00b =P. His was more creative, and I get a feeling I only won because nudity ranks higher than creativity. Anyway, I can already draw, I don't need commissions (not saying Noob can't draw, of course ;)).

Though seriously, I just don't have anything I really want drawn and don't want to waste my prize on some idea I make up at the last minute.

Hare

Br'er Rabbit from the film Coonskin, please. Don't really care what pose he's in.

I really didn't put much thought into this since I really didn't expect to win after the second day of voting, but drawing that character has been giving me trouble so I opted for him.

Strato
Jul 4, 2006, 03:34 PM
Didn't Br'er come from Songs of the South?

Hare
Jul 4, 2006, 07:20 PM
Thats what I was thinking, Strato. I might as well google up coonskin. Perhaps there's another?

Weird, Flashback! Dang I saw that film when I was a kid lol. Bout the only think I can remember was the quote "Because I was born and raised in a garbage can". And some rats getting shot up by some fat slobby guy lol. Man my mom picked some interesting films for us to watch as kids o.O. How bizarre.

Sure I can draw der Jackrabbit for jer.
