When asked how old the game is, one Korean 17-year-old girl called "babie" said, "its new i guess :)". There are more Koreans too, including males going by the name of "(-)you", "(-)youtoo", and "lsy". What is going on here?

An evil marketing scheme?
A ruthless government act to decrease Korea's population by transferring human beings into binary code and emitting them into the internet?
Stay tuuuuuned.

I'm a huge fan of the Matrix (already memorized most of the first 2 movies) and I picked up NO Matrix reference whatsoever in what was said. You just watch too many movies, methinks.

Did you point them towards the community? If there are more Koreans, I don't care one way or the other, but it's always nice to get new people (even if they are uniformed and dumb.. that's why we have the JCF).
And if you think I'm being a little mean spirited towards the JCF, in my opinion at least 3/4th's of the posts on this thread are entirely worthless and might as well be deleted.

I've tried to direct some to J2O, but I haven't met one that's completely fluent in English yet, and somebody almost totally foreign to the English language would probably be scared away by J2O. All of them except a few that I've talked to only understood things like "hi" and "yes"... you know, basic stuff like that.
Also, yesterday I talked to somebody called Iam Korean. No relation to Iam Canadian, apparantly. A great coincidence, yes, but more important is what he said to me: that A. He got JJ2 from a bookstore and B. That it came out in 1995. The bookstore part is believable, but obviously we know that JJ2 was released in 1998. It's possible that he was mistakenly referring to JJ1, and was a year off on that too.
And yes, Spaztic, I believe yours was the first post that actually seriously addressed the issue at all.

Wait, Iam Korean was for real? I thought it was a joke because I had been thinking of joining a server with that exact name not too long beforehand.

Furthermore, why would the "I" and "am" be combined? As far as I know, Iam Canadian only does it because of the character limit.

I remember joining a server as "Iam American."

Yes, unless it was somebody playing a prank or something. They seemed pretty real.

Exactly. Either this is a parody or a fantastic coincidence.

I was under the impression it was because the second character in your name couldn't be a space. But maybe that's just me.
Iam Canadian

No, you can use a space as a second character. I've done it before. I did at one point thwart the ingame character limit and name myself "I Am Canadian" but rejected that purely because I had gotten attached to "Iam Canadian".

Well... you can't through JJ2, anyway. Or I can't, at least.

IAC, your name is red, no? That means that the first two characters of your name are ||.

That was back before I reddened my name, I think. Not sure, though.

About an hour or 2 ago I saw a server named "korea".
Hi Canadian :)
