I'd've done this in the 'misc' thread; but its not entertainment like all the other stuff there, so I'm putting it here.

Does anyone have the PSM files for the full version of Epic pinball? [Don't ask] I don't mean .S3M or .it, but PSM

Yeah, could you give me them? Thanks.

I think I have it somewhere, though PSM is just another extension for S3M.

Would you believe I have all of them? Every single variaty of Epic Pinball and Silverball music in converted (and sometimes fixed) .s3m form? I'm not kidding ya honest.

I have the CD version of Epic Pinball with 13 tables but that's not all of them: some tunes were remixed for the CD version (most noticably Enigma) and the Android music was replaced. Here's what I have in the music department. Unless indicated otherwise they're from the CD version:

Epic Pinball
1. Android (Original Shareware)
2. Super Android
3. Pot of Gold
4. Excalibur
5. Crash and Burn
6. Magic
7. Jungle Pinball
8. Deep Sea
9. Enigma (Original)
10. Enigma v2 (CD remix)
11. Cyborgirl
12. Space Journey (remix of Silverball's Nova)
13. Pangea
14. Toy Factory
15. African Safari
16. "Credits" (Shareware. Heard when you quit the game)

And for completion's sake:

Silverball (plus 2)
1. Fantasy (possibly needs fixing)
2. Blood
3. Snooker Champ
4. Odyssee
5. Nova

6. Duel (not by Robert A. Allen. Very lackluster)
7. Warbot (see Duel)

The last two tables of Silverball were rehashes of Magic and Excalibur btw. And .psm is not .s3m. Far from it. It's just they're easily converted into .s3m. ;)

If you can wait a bit (possibly next week when I come back from vacation) I may be able to dig up the original versions of the musics from my archive drive and send them to you. Just specify which ones you want :)

Aw you don't need to do that silly... :p

Anyway do you want the .PSM's or .S3M's? I'll have you know .PSM's don't play correctly in ModPlug... What are you going to use them for anyway?

I want the PSM's, as said above. *Definitely* PSM, NOT S3M at all.

And I know they don't play correctly. Thats *part* of the reason I want em; the only way I'm gonna get a S3M-PSM application is to make one myself,

I'd take the S3M versions of them :P

OK... A player or a convertor? :)

I'd take the S3M versions of them :P

When I come back home I'll send them to you. Would you like Duel and Warbot as well even though they're very subpar?

I trust you that they're probably not worth it.

Yeah, I'll take em; subpar or not, I may not get another chance. I may regret it, but then again, Monolith has always been ready to forgive me.

OK... A player or a convertor?

Both; though given the extent of my programming [dis]abilities; it may take some time. Modplug is good, but it only converts one way, and doesn't even convert them properly.

Silverball uses a different version of PSM than Epic Pinball, IIRC. I have Silverball on my PC, and I have Epic Pinball somewhere. I even made a MIDI remix of Fantasy. =D

Really? Interesting. I did not know there were different versions of PSM. This *will* be interesting.

Well, Modplug doesn't seem to like them, and the foo_dumb.dll plugin for foobar2000 says its format is "PSM (old)" while JJ1 and Epic Pinball just say "PSM."

EDIT: Spelling.

Doesn't contain the Warbot and Duel tracks, but like JelZe said, you're not missing much. =P I'll look for the Epic Pinball tracks in a minute. Oh, and I'm not sure which track is which, but Song0 is the menu and Song1 is Fantasy, IIRC.

EDIT: I'm not sure about what Jelze said about remixed tunes. When I played the Shareware Android, the sound didn't work, so I only ever heard anything on the full CD version. =P

EDIT2: Found the Epic Pinball tunes, also downloaded the shareware, but it seems to have the same Android tune. Oh well, at least I have the credits tune now. Anyway, here's the song order for Silverball:

SONG0: Menu (name seems to be 'User')
SONG1: Fantasy
SONG3: Nova
SONG4: Blood
SONG6: Snooker Champ
SONG7: Oddysey

From the fact that there are no Song2 and Song5, perhaps Warbot and Duel, or at least the music, were planned for the original game at some point =P

The Epic Pinball tunes seem to be in the order they appear in the game's menu (Song00 is the shareware credits tune: ) http://thunderweb.jonnys-place.com/music/pin.zip

So all that's missing is the old versions of tunes (although I did find an S3M of the old Android tune.)

EDIT3: Here we go.
http://thunderweb.jonnys-place.com/music/SONG1.PSM
http://thunderweb.jonnys-place.com/music/SONG2.PSM
http://thunderweb.jonnys-place.com/music/SONG8.PSM

Android is completely different, Pot of Gold has one note added to the beginning and Enigma is all high-pitched and weird.
