I am new to this forum, so I may be asking in the wrong place. I have the original Jazz Jackrabbit that was a DOS game. It would run in DOS mode on Windows 95, 98, etc. Is there a patch or something that will allow me to play this game on an XP machine? Thanks for any help

I don't think there is. Remember, XP is from Microsoft.

Nope, but you can use Dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1).

Get DosBox. (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/)

I managed to get JJ1 working on my PC with that.

LOL! Beaten to it by Camou! Must have posted at the same time. 1 minute late.

Wait, are you guys sure? I could've sworn I had it playing on XP before. Wasn't there a patch called something like tpatch.exe?

That doesn't help for XP.

Google TPPatch. That works.

Also sound can be fixed with VDMSound.

I prefer to use these becuse they have neater fullscreen then DosBox.

Tppatch, though, doesn't work for those new superfast computers like mine.
I use DosBox.
