When i opened modplug, i wanted to play some music which i hoped would work. But instead, like loading other large unsopproted files, played weird sounds that almost seems like a rythem without proper samples.
I tried it with UT levels, and the samples were named after the UnrealEd features. The weirdest sounding 'song' was when i opened a file called MH-LiandriInvasion.unr. It played some sort of computer sounding bass for part of it. WEIRD:O :O :O :O :O :O :O !!!!!!!!!

I belive modplug is supposed to open mods, not Unreal levels..

Indeed. The music files are .umx, but they can be converted to normal mod formats with UnrealEd, IIRC.

opening a level with modplug and exporting the music files from a level with
unrealed then playing them in modplug are two completely different things.

Then don't post anything.

Basically someone has somehow played some unreal sounds. The argument is whether these were in .unr format, or if they have somehow opened an unreal level with a music player and got the sounds out.

I do know it is possible to play game levels in music players, though they crash a lot.
