Sorry, couldn't do much more than that with my current level of skill. I just wanted to make sure that I called the idea before anybody else could steal it. :P

Hmmm, could've used a lil touching up.
Love the book, love the pun!

Like I said, I'm not good at photomanipulation. In fact, I'm surprised I managed to do this much.

Well, it wouldn't be very much more difficult to tidy it up a bit, I'm sure its within your grasp!

The thing is, I don't know how. I just copied and pasted the surrounding paper texture ><.

Well for one I'd've knocked up an 'i' outta the title text and used the 'W' already there. The paper texture you used isn't quite papery enough, it looks a little black in spots, so that'd need a touch up. And thats about all I could do I'm afraid.

Eh to me it seems fairly easy, if you got photoshop, all you need is to clonebrush away some of the text and use layer FX to mimic the text.

... you remind me of a member called 'Sucka_Tube'... Check his posts in the search machine to know what I'm talking about... :|

I don't have photoshop. Not anymore anyway. I think I had a demo, but it's expired by now.
Edit: It was Paint Shop Pro, not Photoshop. So I never had Photoshop then.

Actually, there's a clone brush, and you could use a bunch of filters.
But I only got PSP6, so I wouldnt know.

You can do an awful lot in paint if you know how.

Yes, but manipulation of photos and paintings hardly work well in Paint. Paint rocks for spriting, pixel art, heck, just about anything thats clear and crisp.
I do most of my sprites/pixelart in paint.

Nac Mac Tendo!
And yes, you can do a lot with paint. A friend and I used paint to stick someone else's face on a dollar bill, along with some slightly different wording. It came out suprisingly well.

Indeed. While it is not as easy to use as photoshop, which was *designed* for image manipulation, it is entirely possible to edit a picture with it.
Besides the edit in question was a simple one, not involving multiple layers highlights and etc.
