View Full Version : Ultimate Tileset Designers (UTD)

I've decided I want to start a new tileset group called "Ultimate Tileset Designers", or "UTD". Members of UTD will be designing quality tilesets for all level makers out there. Here is just the group rules:

1. If you become a member of UTD, you need to keep active.
2. All the tilesets you make must have all the necessary tiles. If it doesn't I will notify you telling you to add them.
3. Your tilesets must have a UTD tile in them, to show it is a UTD production. You will be notified if it doesn't.
4. Don't make bad tilesets (that get under 5).
5. Members get 5 ranks:

Elite: Members that make extremely good tilesets (that get rated 9+)
Gold: Members that make very good tilesets (that get rated 8+)
Silver: Members that make good tilesets (that get rated 7+)
Bronze: Members that make normal tilesets (that get rated 6+)
Beginner: Members that make average tilesets (that get rated 5+)

Note that the rating will be the average rating of all the tilesets they make, so they can increase or decrease their rank.

6. Don't join other tileset groups as well as UTD. If you do you will get kicked out.

Also we need members! I need some people to join, and I also need a person to become Co-leader of UTD. That person needs to be responsible, obay the rules, and make some good tilesets.

Alienator had a short-lived tileset group (which I don't think did anything else than release his tilesets, but not sure)

A new rule: When making a tileset for UTD, put "utd" in the file name. For example, if you made a tileset called Aquatic Castle, the filename should be utd-aquacastle.j2t.

I think people want the honour for a good tileset completely to themselves...

You know I always figured the same thing for JJ2 skills and Levels.
But hey, multiple clans and levle groups can't be wrong, right?

Can someone close this thread? I have decided I don't want to continue with this group as I think this group won't be very sucessful. Instead I will just join a level group like IC or XLM, instead of leading one.
