(this will work like JJ2WC 1 on 1 II, in a "Best of 3 levels" method. before every match each players picks one level out of those three mentioned above, and in case each player wins one level, the third level that wasn't chosen by the players is played as a tie-breaker round. therefore, possible scores are 2-0 and 2-1)

every level is limited to 15 minutes, without a score limit!

if the score is still tied after 15 minutes, 5 extra minutes are played, then another 5 minutes if neccessary, etc..

I don't have anything against the mappool. This way it's clear for all and there won't be endless arguments about which level gets played for a tiebreaker, that should fit both, or anything like that. Except those levels could be some newer ones containing 2 fullcarrots. Helldome, Sanctuary, etc.

You've really disappointed me... I joined because this was the first tournament I've ever seen that doesn't have semi and did have marsh. I joined because I really really really like marsh and I'm getting sick of playing semi all the time, and now that you replace the best level in the mappool with an overplayed one (and I bet you chose your 1st round level against anubis) this tournament just completely sucks and has nothing interesting for me anymore.

well sperry and i have just finished the second round, i won 8-7 in bblair after two extra times and a sudden death where i roasted her once but she took the flag D=. this could've all been avoided if i weren't such an idiot since i was leading quite safely in the beginning of the match, but unfortunately this level doesn't seem to like me too much lately :(.

about the first round, well it wasn't as easy as the score may make it look like, i actually scored most of my points during the last few minutes and she had a decent amount of lag.

I lost in the bb levels completely. My opinion is that I tried to attack all the time and Snooze just left seeks everywhere. He is a great duelist and dodged all of my shots with incredible accuracy. It was nearly impossible to kill him in bblair as he run away and left seeks and camped where r3p did. 5 of my dies in bblair were 3hk's which were caused from fake C. I hate two carrot levels where I get fake C's all the time!

In BBswing I lost without any change, but there I got some 3hk too thanks to the noobish double C respawn. And I didn't see the other C down C so I never knew when it was a fake. BBswing sux! In semi, I killed Snooze in the beginning with a warpkill and after that it was quite easy.

But bblair...
Maybe in a more laggy server I would have a change, but it seems that on Emp's he's just too good at dodging. My seeks NEVER hit him. And everytime I hit him, he hit me too!! He just had seeks all the time and my RF'ing didn't work couse I got hit by a seek same time... AND because there are two C's he can go to the other one which I don't and get 3h.

I have to say even if I think he didn't attack much and only camped and beat me because of it, he is better than me.

Btw. he was as fast as me, if not faster in bblair, that's good:)

I just lost to SJ.
4-2 in BBlair as far as I can remember, and 5-3 in BBswing.
I did have 2 3hk's in BBswing. Anyways, I was pretty much too tired to concentrate (insomnia.) Didn't get to sleep more than about 13 hours the past 4 days. I don't think I could have done much better with sleep though.
He's just better than me now. I should've kept playing last year if I wanted to be even with him. I'm not sure how SJ will do against FS though.

Weeh, I finally get to duel FS. It's been more than two years from our previous and so far only one. This is going to be exciting. (I actually got a bit revange on Veg for stealing that chance from me in season 2, j/k)

And scores of our quarter-final were

Both were quite typical low-score games, and 2nd one with a less lag-friendly server somehow. And that shows Veg could be still in shape, if not "tired."

The first round I just dominated as he was playing rather predictable at first, then he got better and it became fun.

The bblair round wasn't too great as the host was lagging horribly; We had a lot of pauses and the lag made it hard for me to kill him due to it, thus the score ended at 2-0 in my favor.

Alright, I've been informed of some advancements in a certain level while I was gone. Therefore I think we should have our duel next weekend, along with the winner facing snooze soon after.

This was some weird kind of a duel. There was weird lag. No 3hk's or anything though. And I highly suspect there was most lag for R3ptile, looking at what weird kills I had.
I won 9-3.

The second duel.. R3ptile choose BBlair. This was some kind of a .. very luck based duel. And this time the luck was based to me. FOr example, I was 2-1 behind, and scored the 2-2 at 14:50 .. I scored 3-3 in the 19th minute, and r3ptile scored the 4-3 at 20:01. (YES that is luck.) I scored 4-4 .. and then it became sudden death. I killed him first, so it became 5-4. This wasn't as laggy for me. I dont have any idea if it was laggy for him. Anyways, it was a gg.

2nd round: Apperently Veg just didn't seem to run out of luck. He scored thrice(!!) during the last minute, and also rushed two of his points. I've roasted him a lot more times, and yet I've lost the match. Unfortunately I won't get to face SJ, FS, Sucer, etc. now.. but I guess there will be more tourneys, and my time will come.

Actually before this round we played a little while in Riccy's server but I was soo terribly lagged I couldn't do anything and I asked if we could quit. Because Sperry is so nice she agreed. (all tough she was winning 4-2)

This time was much much less laggy for me but I had airs and 3hk. Sperry had very much lag and that's why I won 7-1.

If you don't know what happened you should keep your mouth shut. Flooding tournament topics is shameful, unlike quitting a game because it's unplayable.

When I say unplayable I am not joking. You whine about airhits and 3hk in your own server, but I whine ONLY if I have a REAL need for whining. I rarely even say airhit, even when I get one. (because I get them so much)
If anyone ever wonders why I am so good and unbeatable in my owns server, (Well SJ has beaten me a few times) It's because I play much better when I don't get airhits and 3hk's. Airhits are the most frustrating because seeks are so easily dodged if they don't come as airs.

But in the first attempt to play round 1 againts Sperry it was worse than just airhits and 3hk's. My computer sucked so much that it slowed down. At first it was normal and I was leading 2-1. Then my rabbit started getting slower and slower. Can you imagine what it feels like to play with a rabbit that uses 1/3 speed againts a full speed rabbit?

If you whine about 3hk's and airhits in YOUR OWN server, think million times over before you judge anyone else's lag. I've seen how good your computer is and I can assure you you don't even know what unplayable means.

P.S. In the real round Veg hosted, Sperry's connection sucked. I can belive her lag was somewhat terrible also. She said it wasn't so bad herself but I think she's just being noble:( Vegito who observed her saw how she lagged. (was like 1sec behind the server). The score in bblair was actually 9-1. The -2 came because she had taken a real carrot and I killed her nevertheless. That's how much she lagged. The server didn't have time to register that she had taken the C.

It was like my small CTO's and that's why many airhits rabbit versus Sperry's not CTO'ish but very lagged traditionally rabbit. I wonder what's worse. Prolly Sperry's lag.

First round:

Veg taunted me to choose semi. I don't have enough patience to play duels rly. I noticed it here. In a 1-1 situation where I had 1hp and Veg 3 and he camped C I didn't have the nerves to continue camping upstairs and I went to C and died immediadly.
Then I tried to win by force like againts Snooze and died a lot. In the end I had some fluke scores but the result was quite crushing 8-3 to Veg.

Second round:

DS hosted this like the previous one also. Veg knew I suck in bbswing and chose it. I begun with a roast that sucked and was winning 1-0. Then I had one stupid seekairhit and Veg scored to 1-1. Then I lost my nerves again and started to try noobish tricks. Veg scored quickly to 5-1. Then I played well again, but it wasn't enough and Vegito beat me 9-6.

Okay then.. I dueled Sucer as you can see.

First round:
Yeah well, he quickly got a 1-0 lead. I luckily was able to kill him pretty soon after that. Then as you can see at Sucers post, something inside him snapped. I really got him at 1h most of the time by then, and I was always able to quickly get the carrot when he hit me. It wasn't really lagged. I even had luck with getting shot up by seeks at times. He played a bit too offensive imo. I could easily get him fall into my traps.

Second round:

This game was a bit.. weird. :P.. He got 1-0 when we played over 5 minutes already. I started to play really offensive by then, because I didn't want to lose this game. It seemed to work out, espescially considering he fell for every trap I set up. I think I really did hit him like 10 times at the seek power up. I got 5-1 in less than 3 minutes I think. After that he started to catch up again for a bit. Well, I think he roasted me .. 4 times.. Most scores were rushes at that time. I think we rushed 4 scores in a row once even. It was pretty funny. I did notice he was the more lucky one looking at the lag this time. I didn't get shot up by seeks, but instead he did :p Oh well, the lag evens out then I think.
There weren't many 3hk's in these rounds, and if there already was one we didn't score on it. I liked these games. They were friendly games. None really whined and such. Thx for hosting DS.
I am looking forward to face SJ again. ;P

Approx. each fourth jj2-player is able to host in public. And when even these are mostly gone/busy, chances for finding even an average host are low.

For very complicated, and also personal reasons of both sides, I and Veg have agreed to share the title of this season. Considering we both won each other once, it should be fair. Now that we're both 8'D-members, fits also.

I don't know what do people, and r3p think about this compromise, but it's just that we cannot really play this match for some longer time even perhaps. It's yet postponed by just few days, but though we'd consider playing it in the next week, it could be just delayed from time to time. So at least unofficially, I claim half-pie for myself, and congrats to Veg too.

As I said, there shouldn't (as in can't) be multiple champions in a league for individuals. Even choosing the winner by random if neither of the finalists wants to play is, no doubt, a better course of action.

Of course, this stands only if someone'd be going to give both finalists an equal title.
You can make the other one the champion and give the other one a title of lesser value.

The point is that it's just plain stupid even thinking about sharíng one single thing, such as a title. We badly need a final. Play whenever u can, since two equal champions is but crap.

I just dueled R3p

First round was in bblair. I could've won 3-2 if mcaffee didn't interrupt at the last second. it went overtime at 2-2 and he got the last kill. I think JJ2 hates me.

Second round was a bit less fun and we both did knuckleheaded things but I managed to win 4-3 on red against r3p.

Third round was a disaster. the level made it hard for me to tell what hearts he was at, what he was going to do, and he basically got the advantage from the start which made it extremely difficult for me to gain control of the map. This level is not good for dueling.
