Well, I really the Jazz Jackrabbit games. I love them. I've been playing them for ages now, since I've been a toddler or something, and one of the things I like the most - is the soundtrack. I actually searched the whole interweb for MP3 tracks of it - and I just love the songs for Diamondus, Medivo, Carrotus, Tubelectric and... well actually ALL of them. I especially like the ending, menu and opening songs in JJ2.
Now the real issue that bothers me for ages now is,
is there any artist out there that sounds somewhat like the soundtrack of this brilliant masterpiece of a game?!
I even tried searching for stuff by Alexander Brandon [who composed quite a lot of stuff for Epic games, such as Deux Ex and Unreal] - and nope, none found.
This makes me somewhat depressed, because I can listen to that soundtrack for ages, and as a person with a serious obsession with music - I MUST HAVE MORE.
Help? Anyone? :(

Try the jj3 sound track, it's jazz also so it's just as good.

And the JJ1 soundtrack. It wasn't done by Alexander Brandon, though.

I have both soundtracks for 2+1... I want some other artists, yknow, with albums and such... :(
And isn't JJ3 non-existent mainly?

Well, maybe <a href=http://www.modarchive.com/artists/necros/>Necros</a>.
The artist is quite good and did some collaborations with Alexander Brandon...

Try <a href="http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/2100">Tyrian</a>. Its soundtrack is very minimalistic in samples, but has awesome melodies.

Alex Brandon, in the demoscene, has used different names, too. Try looking for 'siren'

Robert A. Allen, who did JJ1's soundtrack, also did music for some of Epic's early point and click adventure games such as Dare to Dream.
Although, I can't find so much of a demo of these games, so I can't say much for the music itself.
EDIT- I did just find a demo of Dare to dream here (http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?500000025878), but the music is more akin to American McGee's Alice than his music for the JJ series (Robert also composed the boss music for JJ2).

Though a lot less funky and happy, you might like the soundtrack of Unreal Tournament (1999) too.

It wasn't finished, but some of the music was.

And isn't JJ3 non-existent mainly?
A solid half hour or so of legally ambiguous entertainment is hardly nonexistant.

Tried looking for Siren and other stuff by Brandon - and nothing, just nothing.
It would've been so much easier if it fit into a perfect musical genre, but it just doesn't. I haven't found nothing which compares to it :(

Then you're certainly very unskilled with google, as a simple search for alex's full name combined with the word "download" returned several useful results on the first few pages.
