While I appreciate the effort you are putting into your story, instead of having to make a separate thread just to explain your story, I think you should be describing these things in the story itself. These kinds of detail threads are really only useful when they are for collaborative and group stories. Profiles can be posted in the stickied Profiles Thread.
Also, I would suggest adding more detail to your character profiles - appearances, personalities, etc. Browse through the Profiles thread for examples.
