Does anyone know how to edit a tileset?(not to create one)

You can start off by using the tileset extractor (http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=4087).

im a noob,but another question:what do i need to edit the tileset?i downloaded tileset extractor,tryied to edit castle2night,created png image,but i cant open it.what is the most reccomended prog for drawing on tilesets?i cant open it with mspaint.pls say me

... MSPaint should open .png's fine... if not, you either have a Windows 98 Paint version or worse...

Personally I used MSPaint to make my tilesets and draw most stuff by hand. But I recommend getting either Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop as they're two of the best programs you could use to make/edit stuff. After you have edited a tileset remember to properly edit the mask as well. Then recompile them by using JCS.

Use gimp, you wont have to buy photoshop specially to edit the tileset q:

I give up.That mask thing is impossible!Can someone make me some train wheels for hotel dream tileset?(animated too)
