a letter-onic question

I've made a tileset, from an idea I got from mys sister, which got it from the ML qob menu from TSF.

Uhm, yeah, JCS crashes when I try to build the tileset. I put the pallet on to another tileset, with the same size, and this one worked.

Why can it be my set can't be build in JCS? I almost checked everything, from size to pallet, but I just can't figure it out.

Uh, OLsen meant you to show the original .bmp/.pcx file, I think.

I don't think anyone could solve your problems over a .jpg :p

Unless TSF tops out at 1000 tiles. I'm pretty sure it doesn't, though.

1.23 tops out at 1024
1.24 tops out at 4096

And for your tileset, width must be 320, height must be a multiple of 32, pallet must be 256 colors; if you have a masks file, it must follow all the rules and also be the same size as your original file; JCS also only recognizes very few filetypes, bmp and pxc being the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

If it isn't any of that, upload the full, uncompressed image somewhere or pm me and I'll give you my email so I can upload it.

thanks everyone. To get to the point:

It is 256 colours
It is 320 x 3200
It is not masked yet.

Some things that can be the cause:
-It's only grey and white
-Lot's of JazzBlue
-Not all the pallet-layers are used in the set

I can't come up with more.
I'll post the full-size BMP image tommorow so you can "examinate" it.
I'd like to upload it myself if you don't mind. (and of course you'll be credited:D )


EDIT:
I found it. It seems the Automask didn't work. No I finished the official mask it works perfectly!

So if everything goes right, I'll be able to upload the set next week with an examplelevel.
