In the Quick Reply applet, I'm unable to check the "Quote message in reply" checkbox.

The new icons suck. They always get changed in an upgrade, and the admins always bring the old ones back.

You should have known this :|

It'd be nice if you read the opening post before replying to avoid useless replies.

Firefox has been playing up with the reply frame sizes. I was unenable to reproduce the bug with Internet Explore. It mainly occours with Firefox when editing replies while jumping back and forth pages.

It occurred all the time for me. Well, no big deal since it's been fixorized now.

The opera misaligned columns still persist. Except now it's less ignorable because of the frame borders.

I dislike the frame borders :(

Post counts.

You can see these since you're a moderator of a private forum. I've made it so administrators and moderators can see post counts, but regular users can't.

I've looked on the vBulletin forum and was unable to find any mention of this issue. Maybe nobody uses Opera :-(. When I have some more free time I'll download Opera and try to experiment. And my previous offer still stands—if anyone can come up with a solution to this I'll be happy to implement it.

I dislike the frame borders :(

Me too. I'm not sure why they're here now. I don't remember them being present after the last upgrade. I'll see what I can do.

(Multiquote is awesome :D)

The upper right corner of thread lists (like this (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/forumdisplay.php?f=13)) are bugly.

I'm not positive if someone's brought this up and worded it differently, but once you actually get into a specific section of the forum (for example, just click on the Misc section), all the column names on the right are all screwed up. Views have been switched with Replies, Replies should be Last Post, and Last Post should be Thread Starter, and finally, the Thread name part says Thread/Thread Starter, where it should only say Thread.

This isn't actually new, but I always forget to report it. My default theme is Dark and Simple. However, whenever I log in, I am set to Lori Central.

In your user options it was set to the Lori Central theme indeed. I changed it, so now it should always be Dark & Simple. If that still does not work, try clearing your cookies.

Yes, it works now. Thank you.

Um... Crimi isn't my friend anymore. ._.

Seriously, when I try to add Crimi to my buddy's list it says it can't find him in the members list. It probably has something to do with the special "tm" charcter, but whatever the reason, Crimi isn't my friend anymore.

Editing a thread title doesn't change the original thread name on the board.

Editing a thread title doesn't change the original thread name on the board.

That has always been the case—it's not new to 3.6.4. Administrators can change thread titles, so just ask if you really need one changed.

hello? can you not read? I think we should add the shoutbox. Any supporters?

Of course I can read. Perhaps you can't, because this is the Upgrade to vBulletin 3.6.4 issues thread. A feature request has nothing to do with vBulletin 3.6.4 upgrade issues.

The post count displayed for admins/mods does not reflect the actual postcount of the user (it's always lower)

Posts in certain forums do not count toward official post counts (e.g. Forum Games). Also I don't think deleted posts count toward post counts, even though they show up in searches.

The ordering in http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/memberlist.php?order=DESC&sort=posts&pp=30 is wrong (should appear ordered by post, but as shown http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showpost.php?p=409858&postcount=19 isn't accurate). Is this related, and out of curosity which forums don't count posts?

Stijn
Jul 11, 2007, 05:10 AM
It seems to be related. It didn't stop working as Strato says afaik, but rather the post count does not include forum games posts since a while, and as Fawriel is quite active in that forum it might very well be that he has around 7k posts more than Radium there, thus making the charts appear flawed.

Link should know more about this though, so I'd wait for his answer ;)

Edit: Fawriel has about 5000 more posts in Forum Games than Radium has. Where the other 2000 went I don't know, but probably there's some explanation for that too.

That's a bit weird. Some threads have been moved into Forum Games, and posts made before being moved count toward official post counts, but I don't know if that explains the discrepancy.

Forum Games is the only public forum that doesn't count toward post counts. Some or all (the Restricted Forums category has this property, but some of the subforums do not—I'm not sure if it's inherited or not) of the private forums do not count.

One thing I could do is recount all the posts. This would update official post counts to their proper values, taking into account current omission settings.

Post counts have been updated and weirdness appears to have disappeared. I have verified that official counts do not include deleted posts. As of now, and excluding deleted posts, Radium currently has 12717 posts, 1013 of which are in Forum Games. This makes his official post count 12717 − 1013 = 11704. Fawriel has 17840 posts total, 6307 of which are in Forum Games. His official post count is thus 17840 − 6307 = 11533. Therefore Fawriel has more posts in total, but Radium has more countable posts and thus appears first in the ranking :-).
