It is amazing to see the community still around! I've been gone for quite some time but it is good to see you all, recently I was diagnosed with cancer and it really made me think about my life, and Jazz used to be a HUGE part of it! Thanks for everything guys.

I really hope it can be removed!
And Jazz is also in my keywords of life ;)

You know, I always feel bad whenever someone comes back because they always say "It's so AMAZING that you guys are still around!!"
Are we honestly that terrible of a community that everyone who has left assumes the community fell apart?

...I won't answer that. :)

I don't think I'll answer that either :)
But welcome back Eevee!

It's not that this is a bad community. It's just that most of us are grown up now (at least physically... some still have the mental capacity of a seven year old ;)).
Welcome back, Eevee. Will you stay for long? Or will you disappear again?

Grown up communities are the best! :D

But every community needs to raise its youth well or else it has no future. Have we been raising our kids?

If I'll have kids, I'll do my best to teach them how awesome Jazz Jackrabbit is.

WB.
Personally, I am shocked every day that the community continues to exist, not because it's a bad community, <s>but because it's a bad game</s> but because, as has been said before, we are all getting older and moving on to other things. In all honesty, the community does rock.
That said, I shall now go hide and not make more posts for a few months.

It does seem to have drifted a bit from being a community of fans to a community. I've not touched JJ2 since last year, but I still hang around and post here.

Heh, some of you guys I see as friends. In a strictly internet-only way. :) And other's of you... I won't get into that. :) But yeah, the game is actually just a common factor now. Even if we do play it, that's not what really holds us together.
So, my friends, we are a community!
P.S. That was REALLY cheezy.

Hm. I was more surprised that there was a JJ2 community! Now, to get my friend to give my install CD back... (I got a new PC)

HOLY CRAP! CANCER!??!!?!

Indeed. And n00b, that's a bit rude because this is not a normal person. Our community has been around for years now, and to be honest I didn't expect it would still be so big.
So, welcome back!

I can agree with that, except that I see you guys as closer friends than my classmates sometimes...
Yeah, I know that is weird. :)

Wow, Firion, how bad WAS your PC? I had JJ2 running on a 75 MHz pentium 1 once. (it sucked)
& WB Eevee. Hey, hang in there alright?

Oh yeah? I don't even need a computer to run JJ2. I can spin the CD on my finger, then shoot my eye-lasers at it and run the program in my <i>mind</i> (at 70 FPS!)
WB Eevee, BTW.

Digga digga what? What does her unfortunate case of cancer have to do with ANYTHING I said?
Is this what my post looked like to you?
You know, I (hate people with cancer) because they always say "(I have cancer!!!)"
Are we honestly that terrible of a community that everyone who has (cancer) assumes (we will shower them with affection)?
Honestly, what the hell does someone having cancer have to do with EVERYONE regardless of condition coming back and saying it's amazing the community is still around?

You guys should have that argument elsewhere, rather than right in front of Eevee's face. It's a bit inconsiderate.
