Hamachi is a very nice program, i'm pretty sure you guys know about it. Anyway, a lot of people have problems playing jazz online so i'm going to start a hamachi server that will always be open for people to play.

The network name is jazzjack2
the password is jazz

This is for people with router/firewalls etc.

I will update this post, if ever needed.

I'm looking foward to seeing people join the server. :-)

Directions to play jazz jackrabbit 2 using hamachi

*Go on Hamachi.
*Then go on JJ2 as normal.
*When you get to party play, go to local network tcp.
*If the person hosting is on hamachi, then you can join that game
and play with no problem.

NOTE: A good thing about this is even if you host under local network tcp, people who went on internet play can still see your game. This goes extremely well for people who don't need hamachi but uses it anyway. So if you like to play with a lot of people get hamachi and join my server, so far it's going well. If you have any questions ask, and feel free to add my msn messenger and Aim SN's.

Someone already tried to do this, it failed.
Also, I'm not sure you should use the network name: Jazz2online.

Other than that, gl hf.

Ok so I will change the name, but if this fails, then it fails. I'm still going to try.
there's a lot of people who cannot play because of firewall problems. So i'm going to try.

I'm one of the people who can't host due to router problems, but I still won't use it, because it won't fix my problems. ;)

Everyone should use it anyway, in order to be able to play with as many as possible

I have a bunch of people on the server but a lot of people don't go on hamachi. Another thing I realized is that, today I to games in progress and seen 18 people playing jj2 online, and 90 more people COULD BE. That's crazy isn't it?

The number of people that COULD BE playing JJ2 is just the combined amount of empty player slots in servers. Since most server allow 32 people in them by default, but have only about 5 in them, this number is fairly high most of the time.

Oh I kind of figured that. hey Stijin I see you have a hamachi IP. You were on earlier, but I couldn't get completely connected.

Do you know how you can bypass the max. people limit for a single Hamachi network? Otherwise, this network won't be very succesful.. But I'll join anyway.

Yes, but people from different servers can't connect with each other.

Well i'm pretty sure it will get full enough 'till it wouldn't matter which server you are on. I will now start a new one.

There's a lot of networks you have to create in order to make sure "everyone has everyone" on their lists..
