A birthday present I made for one of my bestest best online friends on DA... Seriously, this guy's one of the people that makes life more fun. It's got a total of three in jokes, but I ain't explaining them.

(It's also on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZJSLXjeQh8 , but the music's not sequenced as well.)

Like I said, Synduo's one of the greatest. He actually named a character after me, so of COURSE I had to draw him.

your skill has definitely improved greatly since i last saw your artwork.
i must say, i like your uncolored work better than the colored work (and not because of color choices as talked about in the other thread, but because of the overall hardness of the lines and such) - but, i'm also a big fan of uncolored drawings in general.

i'm not personally a fan of traditional american style cartooning like you draw, but you draw it very well and i actually am quite fond of your particular styling and also your sense of humor in your art.
also, your characters are for the most part unique but also immediately recognizable as cartoon archetypes and it all just really works well.

(might wanna put a language warning tag on some of those links, though ;))

Que Passa!!!!

Warnings applied(sorry, I was rushed before... but hey, I've done worse pics with my art. I'm not ABOUT to show anyone here my REAL bad politically incorrect stuff.).
I like my uncolored work better too- specially the Tao, and Speedracer pics; those were fun to sketch out. Also that whole second paragraph gave me warm fuzzies. :D
And about the traditional American style... :D I've actually been having a lot of people call it that, and it makes me kind of blushy-happy.

I can only agree with Freelance ( Isn't it wonderful when someone more eloquent already laid down your thoughts? No? Point. ).
The birthday flash actually made me laugh, although I didn't get the in-jokes. It was just so beautifully random.
And that Snacking Spaz is just soooooooo stylish. And there's some surprisingly good perspective in the Cheetah Poppa picture, too....
Generally speaking, it has really been quite a while, but I immediately saw how you have improved. The characters seem to have more substance and you appear surer of how to draw them. Especially visible in the sketches for the class, if I remember correctly...
Well, and I still have to agree with Freelance. I don't like traditional American cartoons... but I love your style.

The designs of those characters for your animation class are really cool and original. The bottle really got me laughing.

The movie rocked. Really awesome animation there, and nice way of ending such a clip. =>
