I posted. What would we be saying in an e-mail? It seems like a simple and plain list of Jazz Jackrabbit games wouldn't be an effective message.

Generally more activity. You could've figured that out.

Thanks for posting. :D

Generally more activity. You could've figured that out.
I looked over the website several times trying to figure out what it possibly would do for JJ2, and all I could figure out was that if people fought, they'd have their skills recorded or something. And maybe some more people would fight. And there'd be a lot of fighting. And then I gave up trying to understand how this was a good thing. :(

I totally agree, and by playing (fighting as you say) we get more skilled and interested players able to do other wonderful things for the community becuase they will be more capable of understanding the game more and what makes it fun. This in turn leads to more knowledge used for building levels and what can be done in improving other aspects outside of 'fighting'.
Birdie, thanks.

I am skeptical that this will actually have any effect, given that so few servers are running at any given time that it is extremely simple to check if any given player is actively online already, plus Xfire has so many games supported that it seems unlikely people will start playing JJ2 just because they see it supported on Xfire, but I guess there is no harm in trying.

I'm sort of with Violet... what good'll it do, get us on some sort of list? I don't really see how it'll help either.

The ways this could potentially help are obvious and have already been stated, unless you have extremely linear thinking I don't see how you wouldn't see the benefits, and no that was not an attack.

Totally agree here, even if it is a small and relatively useless gain, it's still a gain.
Anyway I'm done defending this topic.

I'm still not signing it, I don't see the point. We already *have* enough new players, if that's what you're signing for.

Okay, as all those people are too LAZY to give up two minutes of their time to help us, I'll be so nice to help. I'll post. And any excuse you may have for not signing that, is a bad excuse and can be easily refuted.

Jun 2, 2007, 08:44 AM
It would make it a lot easier to contact all jazzers who are online at every certain moment using the friend list feature, and also provide nice stats so each one of us would know how often he plays, etc.
Anyway, JJ2 is an active multiplayer game and therefore there's no reason for it not to be there.
And Novastar, thank you. Thank you for once again proving to be so helpful towards the community. I'm wondering, what is your next step, revive PE maybe? ;)

Because reviving a topic that's over a year old is really helpful as well.

I find it funny how you take the time to post multiple replies in this topic of which contain jargon compared to the others, when you could've very well posted on xfire which had more of a 'point'. It's fine if you don't want to support xfire for jj2, but it's so obvious you are just trying to make it clear how you felt about how well we recieved your 'PE' thing. Well, whatever suits you.
Also, drop the attitude.

Yeah I'm getting that same 404 error. What's weird is the first time I didn't get a 404, I got filled in all my information on registering and I got a 403 no authorization. Ever since then, i've been trying to register and i've been getting 404s. So I just gave up.
