What would you like to see in the brand new Jazz website?

(serious and realistic replies only, please.)

I think it helps to state the exact vision of your website, that makes it easier to make suggestions. What will the site be? A site primarily focused on competitive JJ2 play? A general site? How is it distinct from J2O and how is it alike, in your vision?

JJ.net would NOT have a downloads section. Nevertheless, our writers could definitely feature stuff that are uploaded to J2O, perhaps even review them.

And FQ, for now I will just say it'd be a general site.

It could be general FAQ like the old offical site, have some best fo user levels for download (Ressurection of Evil *Hinthint*) and most of all, link to J2O and JCS, and patches and shareware versions.

Easy to use how-tos would be nice also, like how-to make tileset, level with JCS, play in net, get a clan ECT. This would get more people to JJ2.

By the way, do NOT suggest features that are already in J2O.

Bspaz, think *BIG*. We're talking for a completely new community website here, not just a small FAQ which never gets updated.

Yes. Yes.

I whould like to see some better "Did You Know" tips, instead of things like "EvilMike rocks, he helped make quite a few of these. :) ".

What constitutes 'Less child friendly'? Swearing?

It would just be nice to have a site where certain type of players can have more freedom to express certain other ideas (for example, destroy's pack that was uploaded a while back had to be modified for acceptence by j2o standards), and yeah, more 'expressive' opinions.

This is in no way saying J2O's moderation is bad, quite the opposite. It's a nice alternative for jj.net, though.

Well R3p, you have <a href="http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=16737">a lot of creative options</a>.

Also, not having a downloads section is not really the smartest idea

i just don't see a point to keep two sections for the community where users upload their files themselves, that's what i meant

Your section doesn't have to be interactive :D

I'd like the site to contain information of jj2 players who change clan. I mean, who can be so stupid?
