I have to go right now, but what kind of sky are you looking for, exactly? Just a generic Carrotus/Diamondus/Colonius/etc. texture, or what?
Also: When you have it all ready, you should let me test it.

BTW, If you want to make a Deckstare conversion, use the Tileset extractor (can be found from J2O=.

I'm pretty much done my tileset but I don't have a proper pallet and even looking at DTR didn't help me. First person to help me out with my pallet problems will be rewarded a small demo of my upcoming pack.

Well when I load a level with the tileset all the colors are all mest up. (For example the hearts are green) When I check the remake pallet the colors are fixed but there is a message saying that it can't remake 8 colors. To many colors in pallet. And now I need to figure out how to fix my TBG.

You fix it by making your own proper palette.

I'm sorry everybody. It's been 3 months now and nobody has volantered. I work hard on my conversion and I really want to release it. That's all. I don't want you to think that I think everybody on jazz2online are worthless scumbags because I don't. Sorry I'm just a little frustrated because I didn't think of the pallet when I first decided to make this tileset. Again sorry.

GIMP or some demo or some other tileset editor besides MSPaint really would be a good idea. Paint's palette support is absolutely criminal, and you'll need palettes if you intend to continue in the field at all.

Almost any school should be able to provide you with an educational copy of Macromedia Fireworks for a reasonable price. If that fails, you could always sail under a pirate flag and go to the bay. *cough*

Heck, if you don't want to go that route, download the 30 day (or whatever it is) trial.

Sorry for the double posting but, one more question. When your making your pallet does it matter wear you put you colors in the pallet as long as there in the tileset? (Excluding things like poles, water ect)

Ok then please explain. Lets say I have 100 colors in my tileset. How would I have to arrange them in order for the tileset to work? (For example lets say I have 3 colors for some trees wear would I put them in order to make them look like leafs?)

I'm already done my Fanolint conversion. I'm going to release it in a pack. And also is it possible to get the Lenti and Tecnoir tilesets were all the black has been changed to a different color of black that won't disappear when you put it in JCS? (Lenti and Tecnoir Have a TON of 0,0,0 black)

Ok now another problem. Whenever I try to compile a tileset for a test it keeps saying that it cannot open file whatever. The file is jazz 2 compatible (it's bmp, pcx ect) and don't say it's the pallet as I've loaded imiges without pallets before. Why do I keep getting this error? And yes the size is correct.
