hey all
im getting the famous runtime 200 error.
I have downloaded the patching program that you all recommend in earlier posts, to my Jazz1 folder, however when i use it and try Jazz1 i still get the error.

Obvious question, have you tried applying the patch instead of just placing it in the folder?

TpPatch is a command line program, so you need to run it with a special command.
Open a command line (cmd from a run window), change the active directory to your Jazz Jackrabbit folder (cd path to jazz.exe) and then type tppatch jazz.exe.
I'm not entirely sure, but you could also probably just drag Jazz.exe onto the TpPatch program. I have no way of testing though.

You could also try something like cmd /k tppatch jazz.exe.

doesnt work
'
d:
cd Games
Cd Jazz
tppatch.exe jazz.exe
or simply:
d:\games\Jazz\tppatch.exe d:\games\jazz\jazz.exe
Change the directory to your jazz installation folder of course. If that doesn't work, copy the files into your current C: directory and patch them there + move them back.

You can always try looking up the error yourself through Google or whatnot.

Try running JJ1 inside of Dosbox, or using VDMSound.
