Hi there. I got a wav file and I need to convert it into a jazz 2 compadible music file. What program can I use? (Other than mod tracker as it's to complicated.)

Jazz2 uses module music, meaning it's like sheet music, it plays multiple samples (music files) whenever there is a certain note. a wav is not like sheet music, it would be like a single sample. My advice: dont pursue trying to get it to work, just pick some module music, which is almost always better sound quality and far smaller in filesize.

What???? I'm making a scrap brains zone level in my pack and I got the music for the zone but I can't make it combadible. (Unless you can find a copy of the same song that's already in s3m it it format.)

s3m is not the only module music format out there, or the only one jj2 accepts, it also accepts it,xm,699,far,mod,mtm
oh, and make your own tileset with it's own theme, dont copy crappy sonic games. :<!---->)

I'm not. (sonic is not crappy!!!) There's not enough tiles in the tileset I'm using to make remake anyway. I'll make some sonic level if I want to thank you very much!

To any JCS users out there who happens to wander by this post: Please do NOT use only Sonic tracks for the rest of the levels you make.
And now, against all odds, a link to easily the best Sonic-music-in-mod-format collection I've ever found, ever: click (http://sphere.chronosempire.org.uk/~HEx/sonic/).
As far as I can tell, for all the individual files you have to remove the ".gz" extension from the filename when you download. I was compelled to download all the tracks in the .tar file at the bottom (15MB) since I couldn't pass up such an opportunity.

I'm not. This levels I'm making are only bonus levels for my pack. Also the levels I'm make aren't remakes. But thanks Blure! They work!

Birdie how can you call sonic levels crap , the tilesets from them where simply excellent , Its just no one has converted the full tileset , tho if you download sonED a editor for sonic roms screenshot the tiles from there you can convert the whole tileset pretty easy :).
thanks for the link blur

Nice find Blur.
And no, I'm not just gonna use Sonic music for all my levels. :p
BTW, how do you open .tar files?
EDIT: Never mind. Just rename extension to .RAR and extract the "sonic" file. Add the file extension .RAR to the end, extract the music and ENJOY!

Well I use modplug tracker for midi convert. A free and easy program. Thats what I use for mario musics too

But still it's not possible to convert any other sound format into 'sheet music' like modules or MIDI. The only reason it's capable of converting MIDI to Module is because MIDI is in a lot of ways more or less the same.
