Well, I want to play online (I didn't play back then :>) and the 1.23 patch doesn't work. I have 1.20. When I had 1.21 (I don't know where it is or if I even have it now), JJ2 patched with no problem. The error message says that it can't access something. It stops when I see that it patches the Data.j2d file.
Can someone help me?
EDIT: Whoops, I think I posted it in a wrong category. Can someone move it to Technical Help, please?
EDIT: Thanks mods for moving.

Sure, I've moved the thread for you.
Could you post the full error message (take a screenshot if you need to)?

Here you are. I know, it's in Polish, but I think you could translate this.
I was also wondering, is there a 1.20 -> 1.21 patch? I think that would help. You know, when I had 1.21 it patched with no problem.

("odmowa dostępu" roughly means "Access Violation" in Polish)

So, an access violation on Data.j2d? This doesn't look too good...

Hmm. Are you sure you have 1.20 and not one of the OEM versions?
If you're sure you've got 1.20, then copy data.j2d over from the jazz2 cd and have another try at patching.

The problem is, I have lost the CD and all I have is a CD with other JJ2 stuff from my aunt's comp. However, I think something went bamboozle when copying and this is the result...
Yes, I'm sure I don't have the OEM version. I looked into the corner of my JJ2 menu and it says 1.20.
Does anyone have a 1.20 -> 1.21 patch? Does it even exist?

Yeah but since 1.21's considered outdated chances are you're not going end up getting a copy of that patch since it's outdated and the latest is 1.23.

That doesn't sound too great.
But do you know a place where it could be?

Find somebody with it it wouldn't be up for download on a website since, like I said, 1.23 is the latest.
