Okay, so this is my first ever picture made in Open Canvas.
I don't fancy myself an illustration artist, but what the hell! I'll post it anyway.

Nice work. Very B-movie-ish.

That was my intent.
With some punk tattoo styled acid-trip influences. ;)

It's good. But where's the technology value? Where's the incredible weapons, the robotic eye, and all the other technological stuff.

It's a zombie insectoid, not part of an alien civilization.
It eats brains and sheds its exoskeleton. ;)

For an insect, it's mouth looks too human. The two eyes are a bit too "awake" to really make it look like a zombie. Zombies have a somewhat stoned expression.
But except from that, nice! Very nice for a first piece of digital artwork.

I should probably note in the original post that I just drew the picture and then titled it based on how it struck me. It's not actually supposed to be a zombie insect from outer space. My girlfriend said it looked zombie-esque, and I gave it certain insectoid hints and pieces, and then I wanted to give it a b-movie type name.
Thanks for the input, though. Should I decide to draw an actual zombie insect, I'll keep those things in mind. Especially the eyes thing, as I like zombie stuff, and I would not have thought of that :D
