Time has come to vote for the maps to be used in the final binding mappool, for One-Evening 1 on 1 CTF-tournament. Each signed up player except Ana, gave a map-suggestion for the mappool of this tournament. Since Ana said to be busy until Sunday(I cannot contact her), I chose one map as an extra nomination at random, that I remember her liking. Security Breach v2.
Everyone, read these instructions CAREFULLY:
This is a multichoice-poll, where you have to vote for maximum 3 maps out of the nominated 8. Everyone, even people outside the tournament are allowed to vote, but of course the votes from participaters are counted in the first place. If two or more maps however have the same amount of player-votes, then the overall amount of votes decides the position. In case you vote for more than 3 maps, I will just count your first 3 votes from top to down on the list, and ignore the rest.
The 3 maps with most votes qualify to the final binding mappool of the tournament. Start voting!

Glad to hear. :)
Only FawFul, who seemed to have problems with his browser hasn't voted yet, and he might very well give a surprising decision.

The private votes of FawFul were Happy Semiconductor CTF, Jungle's Edge, and Security Breach v2. He can confirm those ones later here, I guess. I'm glad all of the players managed to vote. I am unofficially closing this poll tomorrow(Friday 7/12) at 15 GMT or a bit later, depends on how soon I can reach internet then. So votes casted before that moment are still counted. The results from the participaters are so far:
Bleached Diamondus - 1 vote
BloodBunny's Lair - 4 votes
Distopia - 1 vote
Galactic Warfare - 2 votes
Happy Semiconductor CTF - 4 votes
Jungle's Edge - 3 votes
Security Breach v2 - 3 votes
Space Island Level With Islands - 3 votes
That means BloodBunny's Lair, and Happy Semiconductor CTF have been confirmed to be in the mappool, while there are still 3 maps fighting for the third place. This means, that all of you, regular JCF-users, can now affect the last result. If there still remains a draw after the closing-moment, I will cast my own vote to decide between levels, and I rather wouldn't do that. So, don't let me to do that, do you? :)

I vote BleachedD, Disto and GW.
Nah, j/k. I vote for Jungle's Edge, which will make this a 'traditional' mappool.

Alright, I hope I got what you are still voting on. But remember, don't go change your votes anymore if the map you voted doesn't seem to make it to the mappool. Only people who didn't vote yet, are allowed to affect the result. I will close this poll between 1-2 hours.

The poll is now closed and the mappool is confirmed. I also added my own votes, but they don't have any effect to the result anymore because it is clear even without my votes. The levels that made it to the Final Mappool are:

BloodBunny's Lair

Happy Semiconductor

Jungle's Edge
Here you can also see the result as amount of votes.
Votes from players:
Bleached Diamondus - 1 vote
BloodBunny's Lair - 4 votes
Distopia - 1 vote
Galactic Warfare - 2 votes
Happy Semiconductor CTF - 4 votes
Jungle's Edge - 3 votes
Security Breach v2 - 3 votes
Space Island Level With Islands - 3 votes
Votes overall:
Bleached Diamondus - 4 votes
BloodBunny's Lair - 7 votes
Distopia - 3 votes
Galactic Warfare - 4 votes
Happy Semiconductor CTF - 8 votes
Jungle's Edge - 7 votes
Security Breach v2 - 4 votes
Space Island Level With Islands - 6 votes
Alright, so BBlair and semi made it easily to the mappool as I kinda expected, while JE, sb2, and SILWI all had 3 votes on them. This time the votes from the community were to decide the last qualifier, and JE was chosen to be that with a small margin. 7 on 6 overall votes.
Now this means that you can start playing your opening rounds from now, but it would be easier for me if you played the rest on Sunday. So how does the mappool work? For those who don't know: You and your opponent pick a map you want to play out of the 3(BBLair, Semi, or JE). You and your opponent agree on which order you play the rounds, if your round wins are tied after those two rounds, you are going to play the remaining level, that neither chose. Example:
Player A picks JE, and Player B picks BBlair
They play BBlair first, JE second, they both won in maps of their choice, so Semi, that neither one picked, gets played as a tiebreaker. Player B wins in JE, and continues to the next round(semi-finals for instance.)
If you have questions about the tournament structure, you can ask me at double3[at]luukku[dot]com. Good luck!
