JJ1 Cheats

I need help entering them, I keep hitting Backspace and P, but all I get is a paused game until I hit P again. Any help?

If I remember correctly, you have to pause the game first. Then press backspace and type in the desired cheat. Sometimes you have to type DD before each one as well. I think it varies depending on which version.

Because for one thing, the game is hard, and I'm stuck on the Marbelara secret level. And I tried that, I must not be doing it properly.

EDIT: BTW, I'm using the JJ1 CD version on DOSBOX 0.65. I hope that helps.

YES, there's this pillar I can't jump over after I exit the vertical area with all the ammo.

Huh. Apparently the hidden spring event doesn't work for you, which that level makes pretty heavy use of. I know I've heard of it failing in Diamondus, but not in other levels...
