There is no one person who hosts 1.24 servers. They are hosted USING 1.24. Sadly, we do not have access to the source code and therefore cannot fix bugs easily.

just buy a copy of 1.23 and use the multiversion program so you can host it under 1.23 and 1.24er's can join.

you need to use the alternative dll, which is very clearly mentioned in the download description for carrotade

How to start the time countdown?
Vegito
Feb 10, 2008, 04:54 AM
You can't with the normal carrotade. You can with 1.23+ however thats not out for the public yet.

You can with the old version of 1.23+, that's already uploaded on j2o. Use that at your own risk though. For some people it crashes a lot, for others it doesn't.

For me it dosent work, but at least I get this nice chrismas theme. Your mouse thing wont work either. My computer dislikes you.

So there are no use for commands like:
/time
shows end game time and time left
/endtime <time> [reset]
sets game end time (in minutes; must be between 1 and 1440)
In carrotade that is.
Raven aka StL
Feb 13, 2008, 11:12 PM
There's no "/timeleft" or anything.

"/time" shows how much time it is left.
But you cant start the countdown??
Raven aka StL
Feb 13, 2008, 11:22 PM
What countdown? You never explained. ;P
The only countdown you can initiate is for the start of the game. But that one is full of bs.

Well... try this: start carrotade and type "/time" or "/endtime 2"
then... if you can start the countdown of this "level time", tell me how u did it.
Raven aka StL
Feb 14, 2008, 01:27 AM
... You're making no sense whatsoever with that countdown thing.
Again, the only countdown you can initiate is when the game is stopped to start the game (5 to 1 and start!!!).
Of course there's the automated 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 when the level time is about to run out.
But after that there are no more countdowns...
EDIT: Or if I misunderstood you, then try "/autocycle on"...
DanZeal
Feb 14, 2008, 01:33 AM
Yes, it looks that way.
But why is the /time and /endtime existing in carrotade if u cant make a countdown to the level ending?
Edit: Yes... "/autocycle on" problem solved :)
Raven aka StL
Feb 14, 2008, 06:02 AM
... lol
Sometimes people's problems are too simple to solve.

If i am running carrotade 1.2
Is there any point of using programs like cataclysm or NeoAC ?
Grytolle
Feb 17, 2008, 02:25 PM
NeoAC and carrotade can't be combined. Cataclysm is worthless in either case.
