:( You're just rusty. I'm sure if you keep at it, it'll come back to you.

It's ok if you're on wack levels. Not everyone's a dope level maker. It takes study of levels from your favorite designers. As long as you have fun and express yourself with it, that's the goal of the game.

Making JJ2 levels could be fun, problem is the amount of time it usually takes..

Firstly, HI LARK LONG TIME.
Secondly, WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH WHANTIL? SERIOUSLY... YOU GUYS ARE JUST RACIST.
Thirdly, and most importantly, I suck at making levels too :( But you can't be that bad, :( just try again.

In the last couple of weeks you guys have been typing wierdly; Bboy's talking what he calls 'casual speak' and Rag keeps yelling.
Ignoring that, I'd say Larks problem is mainly boredom with making levels. For example, just stop making levels and play online, or single player. I go online when I get bored of making levels for Grace. (Temple of Shifting Sand is taking forever)

I'm trying to build a level too, but I need a program to draw tilesets and save them to pcx.
Can I get the name of it, or link to download it? :-) please

Lark just needs to get the hang of it again. Maybe he needs some inspiration?

If you haven't made a level for a few years then you might lose some skills. But after seeing some other levels it might help for getting inspiration.

Whantil is awesome, and maybe you should try making a level before you say you can't. D:
<div style="font-size:1px;">Levels are boring and time consuming to make, not only that though, most of their value comes from novelty of being a new level. :l</div>

Keep that in mind when making a level.

Haha, well...
I'm not really sure why I can't really seem to make a level. I tried making one a few months ago, and I finished it, apart from decorations and eyecandy and such, but I didn't really like how it came out.
Then the other day I was trying to make another one, and I just didn't like it. I guess maybe I'm just getting rusty, or maybe standards just went way up since three years of no JCS.

"2007 was a lousy year for level making. probably the worst yet. so let’s see some good levels in 2008, ok? come on, guys. i’m dissapointed here. give me a reason to install jj2 on my new computer."

Haha,
I'm not saying 2008's been bad at all. We've had some great stuff in 2008. That's why I did reinstall. Because I've just had to check out some of these new tilesets and levels and such. In fact, I bought a new keyboard just to play JJ2. Not kidding. My keyboard made the game constantly think the up and left arrows were being pressed. I tried everything to fix it, and the only thing that did fix it was if another keyboard was plugged in. So I bought a new one.
