Also, upon experimentation, I forced the battle.net forums to accidentally tell me the name of the Diablo 3 forum that's meant to be hidden till it is announced:

It's not random. If you put in a random forum name it defaults to "All Forums":

Based on what they've released in flash and CSS teasers so far, it looks like they'll talk about Wrath of the Lich King and Starcraft 2 a bit more, as well as announce Diablo 3.

There are hints that Blizzard will also announce a second game besides Diablo 3. Further hints indicate Diablo 3 is 3D and multiplayer but not their secret new MMO. Could it be a Lost Vikings game?

I don't know, "Hydra" would fit in Norse mythology, so there's a link (no matter how thin) with vikings there.

As for Diablo 3, I never actually played the games, so I can't say I'm too excited by this. I wonder why they (Blizzard) don't develop any new IP though, essentially all games they make are fantasy right now.

So in other words diablo 3 hasn't been announced, there's just a pretty good chance it will be announced this weekend. I'd say about an 85% chance it will be and 15% chance blizzard is being mean. This is cool anyway because the other 2 games in the series were fun. Let's hope #3 doesn't degenerate into a quasi-mmorpg with a broken economy like 2 did!

Also discovering those links is nothing to brag about, I saw them posted on other forums last night before this thread was made. I'm just saying this because putting your name in the url like that is silly. But I guess it wins you internet cred or something

The announcement thing is frozen pieces and the expansion is set in the northern frozen lands of WoW, also the hidden drawing looks like a penguin, something you see in cold places, clearly nothing to do with Diablo 3 at all!
