Zeal server

I have had the server up a lot a few days.
And been changing modes often so its dosent get boring.
And i play as often i can. When i dont play i go idleserver...
And its fun to play with nice ppl. And they are glad that i host.
BUT.... There are many ppl complaning for nothing!
it can be everything from lag to saying that i or anyone else is cheating!
First.. lag... if u live in far away country and using bad isp.. there will be laggy!
The Zeal server is in sweden. Using Tele2.
If u going to complain abaout cheating... dont say it just couse u lose!
Some ppl even saying i am cheating. Then i feel i wanna ban... but i dont.
Some do cheat. And if they continue i ban!

well... it´s not fun to spend time on hosting if there are no appreciation.
I hope some players whant me to continue hosting.

...well, first of all I'd say you have to understand that:

1) Most players are new to the game.
2) Most players are Polish and don't speak a single word of English.
3) Most players cheat. They're easy to get and since the general age is lower than 12, you get people who abuse cheats.

For 'appreciation', you'll need to find older players, who don't often play public anymore, with the exception of a few people.

I appreciate your hosting. And except the times when you host an instagib Jail Break, the server is ok/fun. About the complains, I think I'm the only one who talks about you cheating (not seriously), and when people say others cheat its usually right. You can't blame 'em for whining, it's really annoying.

Instagib jailbreak is so fun..... or not.. it was just a try.
I would realy love to host assault but its seems so hard for ppl to understand the levels. So jailbreak is better. Without instagib :rolleyes:

Daniel zeal... I have a suggestion. If you don't want cheaters on your server, why not just turn remote admin on and give us the pass? That way, if you are idle and someone else is cheating away on your server, we can kick them off for you.

Well thank you jimbob, but..
You cant login when there are more players than you on the server, in that case every one can see the admin password.
And if the password gets in the wrong hands there will be no fun.

You can log in; the other players don't see it when you say the login command, only the server does.

I have a question. Why does the Zeal Alpha and Zeal Duels servers have the same levels and the same users? :confused:

It depends on what program or script you're using to see who's in the server. Many programmers reasonably assumed that servers would only host on port 10052, and as a result they hard-coded that port number into their code instead of parsing it from the server list. As a result, an attempt to join Zeal Duels, which is hosted on port 10058, may send you to Zeal Alpha, which is hosted on port 10052. JJ2+ now allows you to join servers hosted on ports other than 10052.

I also appreciate your hosting, off course. I play there evry for at least half an hour. Don't stop hosting. I also agree to what Crimiclown (my older brother) said.
