Strange room discovered in Battle 1!!! (this isn't fake!!)

I recently heard of a hidden room in battle1 with allgun powerup, some pointless enemies, and a laser shield. So me, Terminator, and Crusador went to check it out. in order to get there, we went into the warp that leads to the powered up seekers, but only busted certain blocks unserneath. we made sure that there was only a space of 1 block in between the celing (to the left of the carrot), and the blocks. As Spaz, we got stuck in the celing, and witl all 3 of us together, rose up to the top. if you run and double jump from the top, you will actually see the bottom of it.



with the addition of airboards, we actually got it!! everything was there, except for the laser shield. but I never expected the laser shield to work anyway.

Now does anyone know why that secret room is there? It looks like it was just placed haphazardly, because it doesn't look good at all, you can't get to part of it, and it has events which don't work in multiplayer.

This is very old news. Somebody already made a note of this back at Jazz 2 City back in '99 and some people already knew about this in '98. You could check the J2C news archives if it were still up or maybe with someone who has a backup. Then again, a lot of newbies here never got to see Jazz 2 City so I guess this is alright. If the image didn't appear, go directly to http://www.angelfire.com/games4/j2f/3.jpg to see it and if you still don't see it, you must have either images turned off or a very slow connection or Angelfire is down or you have a bad isp or the picture was deleted. I'm behind a very restrictive server-side firewall and yet I still see it so the latter can't be the reason.

Also, there was a pieces of unfinished landscape of yellow bricks in battle2.j2l. If you scroll across level in JCS, we'll wonder, "what was it suppose to be?" CliffyB probably dumped some kind of idea, whatever it is.

I don't need to edit any of my posts because I did not attack you or Cesar personally with them. They only contained mostly explanations and facts. Also, the alternate link still works, I just checked it and the image is still there, Hellraiser has not deleted it yet. If reloading\refreshing doesn't work (it worked with me), what you can do is first go to http://www.angelfire.com/games4/j2f/ and after that page loads completely, add 3.jpg to the location, which means the next url to appear in your address bar is this http://www.angelfire.com/games4/j2f/3.jpg and now the image should appear.



I can still access these images no matter how many times I delete my cache and hit refresh\reload, the only problem was when you open from here it it says image hosted by Angelfire but that goes away after reloading\refreshing or after trying the method I stated above. Angelfire had so many restrictions on it, that most of the files wouldn't work, so I gave up on the site. I thought I could use it for images on JCF, but it blocks the images. I'll put them up somewhere else later. no big problem!!

Thanks Lamer. but you have screen 1 twice, because the screen 3 link takes you to screen 1. Screen 1 shows where yo wall climb in multi player, screen 2 shows how you can see the room by double jumping, and screen 3, the important one, shows the room itself.

1st: this is where you need to get stuck in the wall as Spaz to do a wall climb.



2nd: this is the room as you would see it if you did not have an airboard or MW.

If you guys really want, I know how to get an STE that fires a blast from the laser shield at regular intervals. In single player it kills bad guys, in multiplayer it does two damage per hit. But as it's a 'glitch' event, getting killed by it online crashes Jazz. Just thought you'd like to know.
