After playing the original Timeshift game I came across this amazing trailer for a movie based on the very game. I'm normally not so keen on viewing movies that were made after a computer game, but this one is definitely on my list!

It looks like a combination of Halo and Prince of Persia .

There are more FPSes than Halo and the Prince of Persia reboots weren't the first games to come up with the concept of time manipulation.

If the duo that scored the game scores the movie as well, I'm automatically buying a ticket.

In that case thats an exceptionally well-done trailer for an otherwise average game (not trying to knock it or anything).

It was a trailer for the videogame, guys.Hmm, strange. Some guys said it was a movie trailer. Even the official game website has references to "Timeshift: The Movie", but the link is a 404.

You're right. It's not all that fantastic.
The timeshift powers are rather neat however and it is entertaining enough for one playthrough.

I kind of liked the game, but it felt like as if the game was lacking some depth. There was this ability to slow/stop/reverse time, but IMO there were insufficient tricks that you could pull off by those skills, specially by reversing the time. I guess the devs failed to come up with come complex tricks/puzzles, but had they succeeded, it would have been one of the greatest games I played.
