ANNOUNCMENT!!! I will now be working in a 2 server team with Daniel Zeal from now. On. My server is now called: Zeal Beta. Same host, same server, me and Zeal will just be working in a combination effort to make our servers the best possible.

I'm going to have the server up 1+ hours every day and hopefully 2+ on thursdays. My server is open to everyone, and is a fun server, not for competition. If you get stuck or want to change teams, ask, dont keep trying to logout/login



heres the weekly Schedule

Friday-Wednesday: Everything alternating
Thursday: Co-op (super popular, i had 21 people on at once)

NOTE: If there are low player counts or uninterest in current game i will change to any requests

Everyone is entitled to two (2) map submissions a month, meaning u tell me 2 maps u want to play, i get them and next time ur on we play them. (post requests below)

I am not afraid to ban people and have banned some. Here are the ways u'll get banned:

Hacking -- Automatic Ban -- Dependant of level of use/advantage
Rudeness/Swearing towards and Unneccisary comments/actions towards others/host -- OverExcessive use -- 1 week

I encourage anyone to come out and play, there is no set time but i will try to give an estimate.

July 24 -Week 2 of August --- 15 to 19 gmt, 1-6 gmt
Week 2 of August on --- 1-6 gmt, 15-19 gmt on weekends
(these are estimates. i will only host 1-5 hours each day due to my schedule)

Server commands u may find useful -- type in ur chat box

--> Spectating
/spectate <on|off>
Enables/disables Spectator Mode if Spectating is enabled and user is in a JJ2+ server.
If you are spectating because you are out in a LRS/XLRS game, /spectate on will make you
enter normal Spectator Mode.
/spectate <player|<blue|red> flag>
Spectate player or flag if Spectating is enabled and client is in a JJ2+ server.
/changemusic <music_filename>
Changes next level to <music_filename> if it exists.
May cause JJ2 to crash with an Amnesia error.
/restartmusic
Restarts the music currently being played.
May cause JJ2 to crash with an Amnesia error, but probably not.
/np
Indicates which music file is now playing.
/wc <on|off>
Enables/disables Wall Climbing. When disabled, it becomes harder to get stuck in ceilings.
/mute <player>
Mutes chat from specified player.
If the server mutes a player, no one in the server will see chat from that player.
/unmute <player>
Unmutes chat from specified player.

I hope you host user made levels for Co-op and not just official levels, otherwise it will get very boring very soon.

About the bans, I don't think hacking should be a permanet auto ban, the system that already exists in jj2+ is good enough, they get warnings and get banned until the server restarts. And about the other rules, look, if someone is really annoying you/someone else you might consider banning them. But for just swearing and complaning about lags? For a week/month? This is a small community of active players, and I think it's important not to get players out of servers for a long period of time, especially if it's an active server where everyone are.

I have been using Evilmikes devres for coop, it depends on the level of hacking(today someone had a laser shield and infinate ammo on a weaponless level)

I dont mind a bit of swearing complaining for lags and suck, i meant more swearing at others or saying "that was a stupid kill" over and over again

I mean sometimes people go into a server and just complain a complain and complain. People talk to them about their complaints and it's sort of a players way of venting. But banning just makes it worse. That makes the player mad and may cause them to take immature but destructive acts against the server for banning them.

That's not the reason why I'm aginst the rules, it's that these players might be normal guys just have a bad day, and somethimes they might quit the game.

K im changing the rules. No bans for swearing or complaining unless you really are making everyone mad. Hacking bans depends on severity

I get ya. Also i will be playing new community releases as well (for example i hosted gothic cathedral today) and I am planning to start an actual competitive tournament in august.

Its more of a whatever everyone wants to play server, but there will still be coop thursdays starting next week.

The computer im using suddenly got super messed up. Everything works fine, except if i connect to the internet with JJ2 it says: SEVERE SYSTEM ERROR. It has to recover the hard drive every time. Only with JJ2 though, nothing else. and i have less time cause i got a new work schedule so i host later if i can.
