CTF vs. TB

I don't like CTF. It's too overplayed and you see that gametype in just about every game that has online abilities. It just gets old after a while.

Team battle's fun, but it's LOADS of fun when instagib is enabled.:D

Competitive TB is not all that great, the first to get a (seek) PU and some kills also gets monopoly on the kills until he dies, and if you lag you will have hard time chasing and your team will suffer. In CTF even if you lag you can still defend, get the flag, and kill people who are chasing you instead of chasing them.

I guess TB is better than CTF in publics though, but it's just like battle with less people you can kill ;p

This is about the first two standard team-gametypes played throughout the game, and not about fun custom concepts that have been founded later.

I request that other gametypes aren't brought into the discussion.

Though I play a lot more CTF and Battle than Team Battle, I like Team Battle better. I dunno, kinda packs a punch.

I have a slight preference for CTF. Unlike teambattle, I don't necessarily pull my entire team down with me if I die more than I kill in CTF.
