This is a known problem, in fact FQuist replied at the page BlurredD linked to. J2O no longer shows e-mail addresses to people who aren't logged in, but apparently the analysis hasn't been updated for long.
Hello,
Signing up for the site is entirely safe and will not result in any spam.
I'm the main developer for Jazz2Online. It is with regret that I saw the analysis of our site here, and specifically the bad rating for spam. The truth is, the analysis was true. No, our site does not send out spam, but until a few months ago, it posted all e-mail addresses on the site in plain text. This was the simple result of naively printing out non scrambled e-mail addresses on the site without thinking of the implications of doing so and security measures to take.
We have since taken security measures. Any e-mail addresses are printed out using images and an extra notice has been added to registration to remind people to opt-out if they do not wish to have their e-mail public. Signing up for the site is entirely safe. This was a bad, although common, oversight that caused trouble for our users, for which I personally apologize. The situation has been remedied.
