Hello guys, long time plenty of see.

I had a suggestion that might benefit us all. Seeing how popular jazz2+ has become, I find it appropriate to update the information you can give on levels. For example:

Version:
- 1.23
- 1.24
- Plus Only

Leveltype:
- Battle
- Capture the Flag

but also:

- Domination
- Flag Run
- Jail Break
- Last Rabbit Standing

et cetera. Also, to be quite honest, I find the 'Tileset' box unnessecary, but I guess that's just personal.

Well, I personally think this should be added.

I'm not sure if you really want all possible gamemodes listed just so you can upload your level not as "Custom Gamemode". And for what it's worth, Last Rabbit Standing is played in Battle levels.

A "This file requires JJ2+" tag sounds good.

I'll try to add a "JJ2+ required" field soon.

Hmm... Does Plus have some kind of logo yet? Like the TSF files have their Lori logo? Maybe a big + next to the name will do. :P

How about this: when you select the custom/concept gamemode, a 'type the gamemode name here' box pops up?

Instead of actually having to specify a game type for a level, it would be better to have some sort of field with checkboxes where you can specify multiple supported game types. And specifying certain game types that require jj2+ to run could automatically raise the jj2+ flag for that upload. Additionally there could be a jj2+ icon next to the download name.

But what about the old Flag Run/Test/etc. levels?

Crimiclowns Suggestion.

I think thats pretty much a good idea. We need this update indeed.

Great stuff, people. I kind of had another suggestion, though, while I was talking to DarkSonic this morning.

When making a level with more than one author, only one author gets the download in his download list. Either that, or the collabbers make an account solely for the purpose of adding two names.

We think a "Multiple author upload" would be a fantastic idea. Not only is this practical, but it also encourages people to make levels with other people.

There are a few flaws in this, however, as the "Author" field is only so big. I suggest to just put a "Collab" or "Splitscreeners" or whatever feels right there, instead of a list of authors, be it two or, say, ten.

Love to see this some day.

That's way too much work for now. Might be done later, but it requires restructuring the database and everything so don't expect that any time soon.

That's why I said 'someday'. The general idea is just that one upload appears in multiple author's lists. Speaking to Dalspots, she thinks it's better to add such an upload form next to the existing ones, e.g.

- Submit file
- Submit collaborating files
- Random file
- Search

etc.
