Me and my friend were screwing around in JCS and discovered this by total fluke. We tested it and it works in different version and pcs and can be reproduced, so i figured id tell everyone else.

The event hides only players, it does not hide baddies or other events. On multiplayer online it blocks names as well.

Its semi portable because you can make it where you want, and you can push the crates.

Heres the simple walkthrough:

1. decide if you want SPIKE BOLLS or not, if you do this will create a cloaking field only inside the chains of the spike if you have one, and you will need 7 crates or else your characters will blink in and out of visibility.

2. Place 3 carrot crate events directly above another. The origin of the field will be the bottom one.

3. Set Numevent to 15 and Extraevent to 215 in all 3 (7) crates

4. Shoot all 3 crates and you become invisible(7 if you have a spike boll)

5. If you have a spike boll the field only appears inside the chains created by the carrot crates

If you dont, the range should be as follows(these may not be completely accurate):

Single Player and Multiplayer(Local): 8tiles above origin(bottom crate) 10 to the right, and all the way to the bottom and left edges

Multiplayer(online): 8 tiles above origin, 10 left and right, 4 below

NOTE: if one player is in the field, whether he /she activated the field or not, all players will become invisible, names as well.

Also: the cloaking can be stopped by placing 2-5 TNTs on the origin.

Great. Put that at the intro of a hide and go seek type multiplayer level. IDK.

EDIT: Errr. I can't figure this out. Screenshots would be nice.

This effect has already been observed in multiplayer when respawning ammo crates are repeatedly destroyed, leaving lots of loose ammo in a small area. The effect can be neutralized by collecting enough of the ammo.
