View Full Version : Complaint about JCF moderation

yeah, nowadays you pretty much have nothing to do in this forum if you don't play jj2 anymore (it's always been this way, though).

see i think this forum could do much better without all this moderation..
all the jazz-related forums could be merged into one as well.

EDIT: why the hell did you create a new thread out of all these replies and moved it to another forum? lame.

All this moderation, yeah, I'm editing and deleting tons of posts every day

Oct 21, 2008, 02:18 PM
Yeah, this moderation sucks. I've been banned at least ten times and all of my posts have been censored.

It hasn't been this bad since Derby
<Sarcasm>

everything i post here gets deleted/edited/censored, whatever.

Stijn

Maybe for a reason http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/images/icons/icon14.gif

Look we've been more lenient with moderating recently but that doesn't mean you can just start posting insulting and annoying posts everywhere.

R3ptile

nah i just post here normally like in all the other forums i go to.. nobody ever deletes my posts there and such.

They're probably different forums with different rules and a different atmosphere!

if by "different atmosphere" you mean "not boring" then yeah, you're right..

Please get back on topic, folks. R3ptile, you can take up your complaints in the admin forum, but you know very well what our rules are: no trolling, personal attacks or flame tags. Off-topic/spammish messages are also deleted.

If you are not fine with these rules, take it up in the feedback forum, but don't complain here. Good luck getting them changed. Won't happen.

ha ha some "people here" dislike you too. deal. ":H"

i do enjoy some jj2 related threads, and i'm staying here at least until the duel tourney is over. whether you like it or not.

EDIT: why the hell did you create a new thread out of all these replies and moved it to another forum? lame.

Meta-complaint: No complaints are taken seriously anymore.

FQuist
Oct 22, 2008, 10:26 AM
Can you be more specific about that?

I think my reaction to R3p's "complaint" was justified. He was literally just asking us to remove the rules against personal attacks, flaming and trolling. I'm very fine with taking seriously well-argued complaints, but that one's just... noise. If you complain (or meta-complain...), do us a favour and be specific. "all my comments get deleted" isn't specific. It doesn't mention why that's wrong and why they shouldn't have been deleted.

it's a shame when a jj2 player degrades (FTG)

There's nothing wrong with the moderation on the forums. In all honesty, they've been more lenient these days than ever before; if anything, we need more strictness!

well j2o's layout is childish and you guys censor everything, just don't be surprised when people think that jj2 is a game for little kids.

no, jj2 is actually quite hard. little kids suck at it.

it looks like a jj2-themed website, which is quite okay regardless of the fact that all good players are 15+

srsly guyz, I hate to bust your bubble, but this is a cartoon bunny game. It is for kids. The page looks childish because it follows the theme of the game, which is a cartoon bunny.

Fixed :)

Yeah man f this (-), we gotta be SUPER HARCORE (http://anabolicminds.com/forum/supplements/105755-xenadrine-super-hardcore.html)

I mean seriously, r3p? The site's layout is childish? How does that make sense? A person can be childish but a site layout? Thats impossible. Thats as moronic as saying "Your FACE is STUPID"

Also,
no, jj2 is actually quite hard. little kids suck at it.

Meta-complaint

well j2o's layout is childish

If by "childish" you mean "easy to access, professional-looking yet still maintaining a Jazz theme, content-rich" then sure.

Granted, the admins are a little trigger happy with censoring words, but the censorship wasn't even that bad to begin with. Derby allowed NSFW stuff as long as you linked to it and presented an NSFW link.

Just grow up already christ

What does this have to do with moderation? Jazz Jackrabbit isn't exactly a game aimed toward adults.

new complaint: odin. what post of mine upset you so much that you decided to go look for every reply i make here and find arugments against it? kinda funny/sad at the same time.. mentioned it in another thread already though, and you don't seem to learn.

that said, "get a life man". or else my next step would be:

What? Are you so vain that you honestly think that I have a tab open of your recent posts that I smash F5 on at all times? I honestly don't go through your posts with a fine-toothed comb just to find arguments against. I have better things to do. I'm just posting here because A) I'm not exactly a big fan of Stijn and B) Your arguments are just ridiculous.

Again, not to belabor you or your point, what does the layout and design of a website have to do with moderation of said website?

You know that I don't exactly like you. :p But seeing as how my personal opinion of you doesn't really have to do with this thread, I haven't brought it up (especially since most people are right when they say moderation has been a lot more lenient than it used to be).

Jj2's built in single player might be for kids, but modern jj2 online is the closest to trve Vikinghood you can come those days
